It Just Got Interesting -- August 1979

I walked over to Sirius. "Hey, is everything okay with Ember? She's acting really weird..." I said quietly. Sirius seemed fine... actually really hapy. Ember seemed that way at first but now she seemed... off somehow. I was kind of concerned.

I grinned to Remus, she has seemed a little tensed up. My brows furrowed, " She's happy and a little tensed. I don't know why exactly but I might have an idea... " I told him quietly.

"You know you love me babe," I called after Lily. "Hey guys! Pete, It's been forever! What ahppened to the four of us hanging out all the time? We definitely need to do more guys." I was saying it to the group more than just Peter or any of the guys in particular.

"Perhaps why we're here?" I asked with a slight grin.

I grinned to Moony, " I have no idea what on earth you're talking about.." I laughed as I pulled up a chair. " I agree James it's a good thing we all still know how to get a hold of one another. " I said as I looked around the room as everyone seemed to go to the table I looked to Ember. I was about to explode she needed to say it soon. Or I would. But I did enjoy having this bother them.

The guys' bantering was nice to hear... but I didn't really want to get into all that. I looked at Sirius and smiled at him. I nodded slgihtly at him; he could tell the guys. I knew he was really excited about telling everyone.

" So....how is everything?" I was dying to know why we were called here.

I sat down at the table. "Alright... all of us together hasn't happened in forever. What's up?" I asked as I started piling my plate with food.

I grinned, jumping up " Moony, Prongs, Wormy.." I was still beaming. " Come here..." I told them as I led them up the stairs to the nursery that I was not letting any of the girls see. I was building it for our little babies. I looked behind me as we went up the stairs and I opened the door. I figured this was the easiest way for me to tell them. Ember would tell the girls downstairs.

I laughed as Sirius practically dragged them up the stairs I wondered what on earth they were going to look at. " So...?" I looked at Ember she was beaming. Then it clicked. At least I thought it clicked.

I couldn't help but laugh at teh two of them. "And that is why you're together... thinking along the same lines all the time," I said, taking a bite of the pasta I made. I rolled my eyes as james reluctantly put down his fork and followed sirius upstairs. "Okay, girls... the reason we wanted you guys to come for supper is because Sirius and I are.. well, I'm pregnant."

I followed Sirius upstairs and couldn't believe what he showed me. "erm... what?" I asked, looking at the nursery.

I grinned at Sirius and clapped him on the back. "Way to go man! That's great! A little unplanned, but hey... you're happy about it right? Not freaking you out?" I knew how Sirisu tends to get sometimes.

I was beaming, " Oh not freaking out at all, yet... I mean, I am excited and worried about it...because we wanted to have the wedding first but....she told me and I haven't stopped working on this....she isn't allowed to see it yet though.." I told the guys knowing full well they would keep it surprise. I enjoyed creating the nursery, " It is early, but we're happy about it."

My jaw almost dropped, then a grin " That is wonderful!" I said going to hug her. " You're beaming that's great!" I was happy for her. IT was a little early then they had said they wanted but they both looked so thrilled. Which was more then expected.
