It Just Got Interesting -- August 1979

I was getting a few glasses, " So, spill..... you aren't sitting still."

"Just all the arguing has me worked up," I said, playing it off lightly, setting my tea down to refill it by the kettle. "It's nothing to worry about..." I looked outside looking for anything out of the ordinary. I watched a shadowy spot for longer than I planned. I could've sworn something was there... but I couldn't see anything...

" Spill..and none of that... Oh, I'm fine. Remus and I were watching like hawks." I told her. " What's outside?" I asked her catching her eyes. " Also, don't say nothing to worry about I saw your face. " I looked to her concerned. " What is running in your mind."

"Nothing," I said quietly, " I just thought I saw something... it's just the way the shadows are at this time of night." I turned to face them. "I'm just worried about all the guys," I said evasively, not exactly lying but just emitting a little bit. "This has got to be extremely hard on them..."

I was not convinced and I could tell Lily wasn't convinced either so Ijust let it drop. " Okay, let's get the tea out there." I said as I got my and Remus' cups as we went walking back out there.

I picked up mine and James' cups and walked out there as I sat beside James and handed him his cup. Taking a sip, just glad everyone was calming down sort of.

I was glad that everything was calming down you could still cut the tension in here with a knife. But it had slowly been disappearing.

I glanced out the window once more before grabbing my cup and a cup for Sirius and followign the other two out there. I set his cup in front of him and stood behind him rubbing his shoulders gently, trying to help him relax. I knew that when everyone left I had to think of creative ways to say be careful... I really did think something was going to happen. And I didn't know if it'd be good or bad.

I have no idea why I would be getting a shoulder rub, but I am not going to complain. " Thank you." I said to her. I was still on high guard somehting was going to happen and I knew it was because of Peter.

I looked at Chloe and then the rest of them. "Perhaps we should head out of here... I think we all may calm down better that way," I said. "It might get our minds off of the elephant in teh room."

"You're welcome... and you really need to calm down, babe. You're really tense," I said quietly scolding him without really meaning it. Then Remus spoke up. "Oh, you guys don't need to leave...." Though that does sound kind of inviting as harsh as that may sound coming from me. "We can easily get our minds off of it here if we tried. No one's talking... that could be problem number one." I realized I was talking kind of fast. So I probably wasn't very convincing.

I nodded, " Makes sensee.... I just can't stop thinking about it. " It was bothering me so much. I didn't want them to go but I knew that's how we would end up calming down. I stood up and stretched, " you guys don't have to leave...but it may end up helping us all. We can all just come back tomorrow? clear heads?" I said smiling.

I rolled my shoulders. "I know this woke up my split personality," I said as ajoke. "I'm about wiped." That was the worst thing about myfurry little problem. It always took so much out of me to keep it under wraps sometimes.

I hesitated grabbing my cloak but I did none the less. Knowing that everyone would feel better after a night. I know when James and I get back I'm putting on music. I walked around the room and said goodbyes. " Anything to talk...don't hesitate to call." I told everyone.

I nodded to Remus knowing how much it wiped him out to keep his other side calm, " Alright hun. " I said walking over grabbing our cloaks and handing him his. " Like Lily said don't hesitate.." I repeated.
