Curiosity Killed the Cat -- March 1977

Nodding, " They needed help and we needed to help them. We understand Madam Pomfrey." I said holding onto Ember while I walked over to a bed and sat down.

Madam Pomfrey nodded. "Alright, dears.... put the girls down and if you wouldn't mind staying behind the curtains while I examine them, I would greatly appreciate it and I'm sure they would as well. Then afterwards, I hope the Headmaster and your Head of House will be herefor you to talk to them and myself about what happened tonight," she explained.

I made sure Chloe was alright sitting the way she was and kissed her forhead. "I will try to be here when she's finished," I whispered adn I stood up and walked where Pomfrey indicated we guys should go.

I set Lily down. "I love you," I said simply, hoping it'd give her teh strength that she would need to tell them what had happened. But by the sounds of it, we'd be able to be with them while they told Dumbledore what happened.

I gave Sirius's hand a squeeze, to let him him know that it's okay... if he left me and if he had to leave with Remus. I wasn't sure if they'd have to leave.

I nodded to Remus and gave his hand a squeeze, "Okay..thank you." I watched as Madam Pomfrey got everything ready.

" I love you too." I told him as I didn't want him to go. But I understood where and why Madam Pomfrey told them to go. All I could hope was that they were here when she was done.

Nodding, I put her down, I didn't want to have to leave her but I hope she understood why I might have to leave. " I hope they're okay." I said looking to the guys. We hadn't seen Peter around which was weird.

I nodded. "I think they are... physically," I said. "I wonder how mad Peter will be when we tell him what happened, y'know? He'll probably be so mad with himself that he wasn't there to help us tonight..." It irked me a little bit that Peter hadn't come out with us yet again tonight, but I knew him; he'd be upset that he couldn't be wiht us when we could've needed his help.

I sat down and ran my hands through my hair. "I hopethey'll be okay, too.... I hated how this happened practically under our noses."

Madam Pomfrey looked each girl over individually and could tell that they had been raped. She gave them all a tonic to help with their emotions and the pain they were all feeling. "There, dears, this will at least help you all sleep tonight. It won't kick in for about an hour or so, though. Chloe, dear, you have a couple of broken ribs... but they should be fine by the morning with the tonic I had you drink, though they will be tender for a few weeks. Ember, besides the cuts and bruises, you should be alright. You have a couple of goose-eggs on your head, but no signs of a concussion. And Lily, youre in basically the same shape as Ember is."

I nodded. "Thank you, Madam Pomfrey," I said quietly. "And... erm... lyou can't tell, yet, if any of us could have gotten pregnant from an yof this...?" I really didn't want to ask, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking of it.

I nodded, " Yeah he should be mad at himself..I know I'm annoyed....We could've used his help.." I agreed. " I hope they'll be okay...with time they'll be emotionally alright too. " I gave a small smile.

Nodding, " Thank you Madam Pomfrey." Looking over to Chloe. Remus is so not going to let her do anything. I smiled slightly, then I heard her ask. I looked over to Madam Pomfrey absolutely terrified as now I was not the only one looking to her.

I smiled slightly, as she said I had a few broken ribs but they'll be okay. " Thank you...." Smiling thinking on how I won't be able to do anything for a little while to over exert myself. I heard Ember ask her question and was looking over to Madam Pomfrey.

I nodded. Peter got under my skin sometimes, but he was still one of my friends. There was no way he'd do anything to us. "I wonder what's taking so long...?"

Madam Pomfrey knew how hard it was for the girls. "Ember, it is still too early. I do want to do a check up on you three in a couple of weeks, though, so please do not forget,"she said. "And Lily, dear, there would be options if that were the case for you so you wouldn't be big for a wedding day..." Oh yes, she noticed.
