Best memories come from bad ideas -- Summer

I rolled my eyes at Mina.  "And do you think I'm stupid?" I asked, a sarcastic smile playing at my lips.  "You just want people to mess with."

I sighed.  "I dont' think you're daft, Marie.  But in addition to my motives, you look bored.  Why don't you invite them?  I promise I won't be too bad," I said to her, smiling innocently.  I could behave myself sort of.

I had a bad feeling that this was going to escalate into some sort of fight if we did not tread carefully.  "Don't worry, Marie," I said to her softly.  "There's really nothing bad that we would do.  Maybe some teasing..."

I sighed.  "Yeah, you know they will be," I said quietly as we walked over.  I could hear Mina starting to get a little irritated.  "Or perhaps, we'll have to break up a fight between Marie and Mina..."  That was the one thing that I did not like about being friends with both of them.  I got caught in the middle a lot.

I put a hand on Wilhelmina's shoulder.  "Ease up a bit," I said to her quietly.  There was no point in getting riled up with Marie about this.

"I think we should keep it just us," I stated, pretty much summing up the situation.  I did not wan tthis to turn into some sort of brawl, which it easily would turn into with the way that Wilhelmina was acting.

I looked at STan and could see that he was trying to stop something before it began, which may be good.  Wilhelmina was in one of her moods.  "Let's break this up and get back tot eh party," I sgugested, agreeing with my younger cohort.

I was relieved that I had some backup with Mina today.  I hated when she got like this; she hardly took no for an answer when she was in this type of mood.  I smiled the best that I could and I walked away before Mina could say anything else to me.

I glared at Marie, hating the fact that she was being like this today.  And she had everyone else on her side.  I sighed and decided to give up.  "Fine.  I guess we can just stay us," I said simply.

I put my hand on the small of Mina's back.  "Come on, let's get you a drink instead,"I suggested knowing that ti was best to gt her away from Marie.

I was so grateful that Rory took Wilhelmina away and to grab a drink, though she did not need it.  That will end up making her worse.  I sighed.  "Marie, you okay?  Mina's just in one of her moods."

I let Mina walk away wiht Rory and was glad that the situation was diffused.  I watched as our little crowd dispersed among the other Slytherins that had been invited into my home for the party.  At least nothing major broke out -- Dad and Mum would not appreciate that.

Since Daphne ended up going ot help Marie and make srue she was okay, I moved with Ian.  "So... you think that this will still end up escalating into a fight?" I asked him, knowing how Wilhelmina could get.

I stayed back with the other two guys and shrugged. "It always does," I said, sighing.  I looked at Stan and Ian with a knowing gaze.  "Unless Rory has better control over Wilhelmina rather than you did, Ian."

I sighed and shrugged.  "I'm fine, Daphne," I said to her simply.  "I don't know why I let anything Mina does surprise me anymore."
