Fred and I had this marvelous prank planned for preferably some Slytherins.  We had to time it out just right.  He was at one end of the corridor while I was at the opposite end.  I knew that we would not mess it up by any means.  I finished setting the trap and all we had to do was say the word and they would be covered in something that reminded us of troll bogies -- which very well could be what it was, we did not bother to ask.  We just knew that we wanted the most disgusting thing we could get our hands on for them.  Some other students may end up getting splattered if they were not careful, but most people who saw us like this knew we were up to something and avoided the area to the best of their ability.  The group we were aiming for -- the Quidditch Team to be precise -- were fast approaching.  We set the timer and walked away from our posts.  I did not want to be too close to be caught by a teacher, but I wanted to be close enough to see the results.  I pulled out some chocolate from my pocket and watched the prank play out.  I saw another student coming closely by the Slytherins and I winced, knowing that she would end up getting more than just a light splattering if she did not get out of there in five... four... three... two... one...

I was walking fast down the hallway, which unfortunately the Slytherin quidditch team was also walking down. I kept my head low and tried to ignore them, hoping they wouldn't notice me. I really didn't want to put up with their half-blood or Hufflepuff taunts. I was almost ahead of them now.

*SPLOOSH*

All of a sudden I was covered in something that looked like Troll boogies. I felt tears spring to my eyes as I thought that the Slytherin team had noticed me after all and had decided to skip the small talk and go right for the action. That was until i heard curses and swears. Turning I noticed that some of the team had gotten splashed with the gross goo. 'Why would someone do something like this?' I was completely covered. Trying to shake it off didn't even help, not to mention the smell was making me nauseous. Extremely nauseous...

I could not help but crack up when I saw the looks of the Slytherins.  They were livid!  Serves them right for trying to jinx the practice balls that the Gryffindor team uses for Quidditch practice.  I was just going to walk away and let them deal with the mess, but I saw that girl.  She had caught full fire - I had hoped she had been far enough ahead of them.  And it really was quite dreadful smelling.  I conjured a towel and walked over to her.  Normally it did not bother me when others got hit by our pranks -- we did not always target just Slytherins.  But when it came to this one, I really had hoped no one would get caught in the cross hairs.

I approached her.  "Here... why don't you use this?  Get it all off your face... and then I can scourgify the rest off your clothes," I offered, trying to give her an apologetic smile as well.  I was sure everyone knew that me and Fred were the culprits who made this mess.

I smile hesitantly at him, not sure he was adding to the prank. When he didn't pull the towel away, I gratefully took the towel. Finally I was able to wipe the goop from my face. When done I looked up at the red headed boy. "Thank you f-for the towel" I stuttered still shaken from the prank, smiling shakily. I really appreciated his kindness.

I smiled at her.  "Not at all," I said, taking a step back.  "I can attempt to get the rest off of you, if you'd like."  I figured it was the least I could do since I caused her to be this miserable.

I blush. "I-if you want to, t-thats ok" I mentally curse at myself for my continued stutter. Just take a deep breath, and don't make a fool of yourself even more. But taking a deep breath was not such a great idea. Instantly I put my hands to cover my mouth. I closed my eyes willing the nausea away, with no such luck. Frantically I opened my eyes and looked around for a bathroom. Unfortunately it seemed there wasn't one in this corridor. I was able to turn away from the boy, just in time for my breakfast to reappear, adding to the already disgusting smell.

I had just pulled out my wand and was about to whisk away the boogies off of her robes when she turned around and hurled.  I could not say I had ever had that reaction before for helping someone.  Then it clicked, we were still with the horrendous smell of the corridor.  I was not entirely sure what I should do for someone I did not even know her name, but I did what I would do for Ginny whenever she got sick.  I walked over to her and kept her hair away from her face.  "Why don't we get you out of this corridor?  And perhaps a cup of water?" I suggested, thinking that the water would at least get the taste out of her mouth.  Bodily fluids never bothered me any -- I was George Weasley after all.  Fred and I made crazy inventions... the boils were the worst side effects yet, though.

Embarrassed, I nodded slowly. Even though I had stopped puking, i still felt a little nauseous. "Could-could you scourgify me first? I.. can't go anywhere t-tracking this around" i stutter still, while motioning to the goo. "Please?"

I nodded and waved my wand in the s-like movement for the spell and actually cleaned her up better than I expected.  I grinned at her.  "There we go," I said simply, pocketing my wand again.  "Now let's get you out of this corridor before anything else comes back up.  We'll just leave all this for Filch."  It was what we did on a regular basis -- hence how me and Fred had a whole cabinet to ourselves down in his office basically.  The only ones who had just as many files as we did were the Marauders -- who I would love to thank one day.

If I was in my right mind, I would be annoyed at his insistence for leaving the mess for Filch. I guess it is his lucky day, as all I can do is nod my head in agreement. "Thanks" I manage to get out, while motioning to my now dry robes. "Which way?" I ask quietly.

"Seeings as I did cause the prank, it's the least I could do," I said with a grin.  I was sure she would be appalled by that fact as a lot of people were when they were on the receiving end... but I always took credit no matter what.  "Down this corridor here... it's faster to get away from that smell.  Which will end up filling the entire floor if Filch doesn't get up there quick."  I could not help but to chuckle.  I loved messing with him.  "I'm George, by the way.  George Weasley," I added with a smile.

My eyes widened in shock. "Y-you did this? Then why are you being so nice?" I ask shocked as I went to follow him down the corridor. "My names Cassie Tonks."

I was a little hurt that someone would not expect people who pulled pranks to be nice.  I mean, I was still chuckling about the whole scenario, so I could see where she got that.  "Well, it was aimed towards the Slytherin Quidditch team... they were trying to mess with our team's brooms.  So we needed payback," I explained simply.  "But timing was a little off and you got caught in the crosshairs."  I smiled at her.  "Tonks, you say?  You related to Nymphadora perchance?  She went to school with my older brothers... Bill and Charlie."  I felt like I was rambling a little bit, so I stopped and ran a hand through my red hair.

"Oh" I blushed and ducked my head, watching my feet as we walked to the other corridor. "I thought that it was aimed at me. I thought that the Slytherins were the ones who got me..." I look up at him and smile slightly. "I'm glad it wasn't aimed at me though. And yes, Nymphadora Tonks is my older sister. So you are one of Charlie and Bill's brothers. I hear you have a few" I wink.

"If the Slytherins would have done this to you, trust me... getting this out of their robes and hair would be the least of their worries," I assured her.  Fred and I liked to help out the victims of other people, too.  It gave us a good name.  No one ever got hurt during our pranks, though, unlike with the Slytherins.  I chuckled and nodded.  "Yeah... I've got the two older ones who were with Tonks, I've got Mr. Head Boy Percy, there's Ronnie-kins, my little sister, and my other half.  Though, between you and me, I got all the looks... I just try not to make him feel bad."  I winked at her, obviously we were identical, but it was an ongoing joke.
