I laughed at her. "I'm not sure you all were thining the same things, but thanks for trying to make me feel better about it all," I teased, enjoying how easy it was to be talking to Katie like this -- as something more than just friends and teammates.

I chuckled at that and the waitress actually startled me when she set down the bill down. I paid it and looked at Katie. "It is probalby getting close to time for you to head back tot hecastle, isn't it?" I asked.

I sighed, checking the time. I was having a great day with Oliver. "Yeah, you're right," I said, my voice unable to hide my slight disappointment. I waited while Ollie paid the bill and then we walked out of the pub. I was surprised that he easily slid his hand into mine. I smiled at him. "Smooth, Wood, smooth."

I chuckled. "You know if the twins were here, they'd have a million things to say about that," I said to her, smirking. I squeezed her hand as she covered her face with the other one. "It's alright, I thought it was cute..."

I looked over at Oliver and smiled at him. "Oh, definitely," I agreed on his comment about the twins. "Next time we come to the village... I definitely want to meet up again." I hoped that was okay to make my point rather clear.

I was kind of surprised by the way she was so forward, but I smiled at Katie. "I would really enjoy that," I said to her honestly. I wanted to make the most of my time with Katie. i was rather glad that she was interested in me, though. I did nto expect it to be quite like this.
