Sibling Comforts -- Winter 1996

"Well, that was also partially because Dad was an escaped prisoner and still thought of you as a one year old and me as a two year old," I pointed out to her.  There was no reason to be subtle about that reasoning.  "I don' tknow what you were thinking bringing him into our house... and you wondered why we flipped out?  It was our job, first off... but as Dad's name still isn't completely cleared... it was silly of you."  I felt a real smile playing at my lips.  Giving Lenni a hard time was my favorite past time.

Smirking, " Yeah, if I am still a one year old we have a HUGE problem..." I said as I grinned, " Bringing a boy home for mum to meet...you both just ended up being there. I thought Seamus was going to pass out due to stress and anxiety. " I explained, it really was shocking for me to see my brother flip out. " Why did it bother you that I was dating Seamus?" I asked, " I'm just glad mum has a bit of control on dad." I said as I stretched.

<< Sirius was still in prison until their 3rd year right?  I thought we were sticking to taht... and that he escaped?  Or am I mistaken? >>

"I like Seamus; he's a nice bloke," I said with a shrug.  "But he was awfully dangerous for you to be around... I got caught in some of his backfires in class and did not need to worry about him doing that to you."

Laughing, "..O......kay..." I couldn't contain it. I had burst out with laughter as I could just see where my brother's mind was going. " Well, that would be an awkward trip to the hospital wing!"

I was startled into a grin.  "Okay, I wasn't quite sure fi that was where I was going... but that is bloody hilarious... if it wasn't so awkward," I said to my sister, shaking my head.
