Honeymoon Phase -- Winter 1996

It was great to be in a relationship with Ron... even though it was mainly just a lot of snogging.  I was sitting in the Great Hall working on some homework and munching on some of the snacks.  I looked up when Ron came to sit down next to me looking a bit beat up after his quidditch practice.  "Ron!  You look so cold!" I said, moving closer to him even if it meant that I got some grime on me from the sleet that was coming down from outside.

I started slightly when Lavender sat down.  I was not expecting it and my eyes had been closed.  Honestly, I should not have been surprised at all.  "Hey Lav," I said to her, looking at myself and then her.  "I doubt you want to get any of this all over you... or I would put my arm around you."  I had to be honest at least.

I rolled my eyes at Ron.  "You really think I care?" I questioned, shaking my head.  "You should know by now that I'm not as prissy as what everyone thinks I am."

I laughed at her and put my arm around her.  "Fine, then," I said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.  "You can warm me up a bit."  I purposely wiped some of hte grime on her just to be a bit of an arse.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, laughing. "I don't think that was necessary, though," I teased, nudging him playfully. "How did practice go?"
