Has been questioned and broken......TBD

I looked over to James, " Thanks.." I said wiping my tears. " So what was everyone doing?" I asked them all as everyone had taken over the common room and Lily was nice enough to make sure we were the ones left alone. Well just us six. Which worked for me.

"We weren't doing anything important," I told her, smiling a thank you to James.

"Hey Chloe... you know we're always here for you," I told her, putting a hand on her knew. "No matter what we were doing.

I nodded wiping my eyes from the remaining tears, " I got this letter...it just broke me..." I explained to the group. I didn't think I would get something like that. It was beyond something I thought they would do." I am just glad I have all of you."

I kept my arms around Chloe and rubbed her arms a little bit.  "Honey, I know how hard this is... being rejected from your own parents is probably the worst thing in the world," I said, remembering my own mother.  Ember and I made eye contact and I knew she remembered as well.  I squeezed Chloe.  "But if they don't realize how awesome you are, then that's why you have us as your family now.  Don't you ever forget that."

I smiled to him, " Thank you...I'm sorry guys..." I said as I felt ridiculous crying about this. " You're right..." I said quietly. I don't like crying at all, but there is nothing I can do about that.

I smiled at her and squeezed her shoulders.  "You don't need to apologize, babe," I assured her.  We all knew what these types of days were like in our own way.  I think the only people here with boh supporting parents were James, Ember, and Lily.  The other half had sucky parents -- expect for my dad anyways.

I gave a small grin, " I suppose I don't need to....I don't know why it broke me so much.." I said sadly. I tried to make it not bother me. "the more i try to ignore it the more it seems to get to me. "

I sighed a little bit, understanding completely but knowing what the problem was at the same time. "ignoring it will just make it worse... I'm not saying you have to face them or anything....but you just have to one day find a way to fave what the situation is. I know it sucks, babe." I kissed the to of her head and squeezed her a little bit to help comfort her. What I was saying was not easy by any means for one to do

" I agree with moonpie here." I said with a grin. " It'll get easier as times goes by. Sadly, I haven't figured out the secret to be able to ignore that I was taken off my family tree. By my mother...Chloe it does get easier it just has a hand in making your capabilities larger. " I explained.

I had to chuckle and roll my eyes.  Only Sirius would call Remus 'moonpie'.  I sometimes had to wonder about them.  I stayed quiet because I was not quite sure how it was like to handle all of that; I was lucky to have parents who loved me. I just wanted to be here for them.

I laughed, " I love the name choice." I said as I looked to Remus who didn't look to happy about the new choice. " Thank you guys.." I said again. I seemed to be very good at apologies.

I squeezed Chloe's hand. "Girl, stop thanking us and apologizing to us... we're your family. This is what we do. Now, would you like the frozen yogurt that James brought specifically for you?" I asked, holding out a carton with a spoon stuck in it.

I nodded, " Yes, I would like the yogurt now. " I said as I took it from her, " Extra points for James, he got my favourite. " I said with a grin as I calmed down. I hated showing emotion and when it was them who caused me to feel this way. It tore me up even more. To know they don't want me around. Why should I be the only one trying. It was not my fault Zoe passed on.

I grinned at her.  "Only thee best for one of my girls," I said.  I hated how Chloe's family treated her... I was just glad that we were able to help her.  I just wondered what Remus did about it... I had heard that he had met them and it had gotten a little interesting.  I was curious if her parents knew what Remus was and if they'd care then.  Most parents would not enjoy their daughter dating a werewolf... but wiht how much they hated Chloe, I was sure they would probably spin it and hope that she would get killed by him or something.
