Pray we could remain frozen this way -- November 1996

I sighed and looked at the time.  This was going to be a pain.  I wanted to spend all my time with Oliver, but I had to get back to school.  I looked up at my husband and gave him a kiss.  "Honey... I'm going to have to get back," I said, hating the fact that I was disappointing him by ruining our little moment.

I sighed.  "I know," I said, running my fingers up and down her arm.  "I wish you didn't have to... but I don't wnat you to start failing your final year at Hogwarts.  You do have NEWTs at the end of this year," I added, as if sh edid not remember that.

I laughed, burying my head into his chest.  "Don't remind me of that," I said to him, not even wanting ot think about NEWTs.

I laughed and moved so we would have to start getting dressed and around.  "C'mon, love," I said, offering her my hand after having slipped back into my boxers.  "Let's get you dressed and back to school."

I sighed, but was smiling, as I started to dress.  I looked over at my husband.  "You'll be coming to visit next Hogsmeade weekend, right?" I asked, walking over to him and wrapping my arms around his waist and looking into his brown eyes.

I kissed Katie on the forehead.  "Of course," I assured her.  "You'll just have to send word when it is."  I could never be sure on when the visits were.

I smiled at my husband.  "You will know when I do, love," I assured him, giving him another kiss.

I was grateful that Katie was so okay with the way our first year of marriage was going -- with her being in school and me practicing at Puddlemere Quidditch team reserves.  I smiled and bent down and kissed her.  "You are fantastic, you know that?" I asked, wanting her to know just how special she was to me before she left for Hogwarts again.

I grinned back at him, giving him another kiss on the lips.  "I already knew that," I teased, taking hold of his hand and leading him from the bedroom.  I really did need to get going back to the school.  I was rather surprised that I was allowed to share this news in person with Oliver; the great thing about Professor Dumbledore was that he understood the importance of every small detail such as this.  BEcause to me and Ollie, this was a huge detail to be able to see each other while sharing the news.

Of course she would be like that; it was what I loved about her.  I grinned right back at her.  "Gee, someone isn't full of themselves or anything," I said back, giving her a hard time.

I shrugged and just smiled easily at Oliver.  "I love you," I said to him, giving him another kiss on the lips.

I sighed and gave her another tight squeeze.  "I will write to you soon," I said to Katie.  I hated that she had to leave, but understood she needed to finish her last year at school.

I smiled at him.  "Trust me... I'll do the same.  I miss you every day while I'm at school," I assured him.

"I love you," I said to her, knowing that I had to bid her farewell for the time being.
