I ran my normally shaky hand through my hair.  I was trying to steady the nerves I had with it plus in general.  I looked at Ember.  "I don't think it's wise to go into it more than I have, Ems," I said to her.  "It's very dangerous... but I'm finally making up for everything that I've done."

I took hold of Reg's hand and squeezed it.  "You don't need to make up for anything, Regulus," I said to him quietly.  I did not want him to do something crass just because he thought he needed to.
