I'll be there forever and A day...Always. ----May 14th 1978

I was running around, Today I was getting married. I couldn't believe today was the day. Well, all of my bridesmaids were rushing around with me to make sure everything was in the right place and that they had everything. I had a smile on my face that had never faltered. It was something I knew I would have all day. To see him at the alter waiting for me, I was smiling so much Chloe made a few remarks about me staying that way forever. " I'd be glad to stay like that forever." I pointed out.

Damn was I nervous. I was already dressed and ready to go... physically anyways. I wasn't having regrets, I just wanted it to be perefct for Lily. And that was stressful. I sighed and continued trying to make my hair stay flat... but to no avail. I just gave up then. "It never listens to me," I muttered, rolling my eyes.

Ryan walked into the room where his son was and nearly laughed at him, but kept it inside because after all these years he still remembered what it felt like to be waiting for that moment. "James... your hair is what people know you by, just let it be," I said calmly, sitting down upon a couch in the room. "Where are the guys?"

" Do you guys have your flowers?" I asked them. Waiting for an answer, " Okay good" I didn't really finish waiting for an answer. " I was almost ready. I just had to slip into my dress. Oh! I forgot...." Uh...Weird question has anyone seen my garter?" I asked. My parents had said hello to me before I started to get ready. This is crazy. I can't find my garter....I looked everywhere to no avail. " Em!!" I said loudly. " Know where my.." I was cut off behind her on the dresser there was my garter. " Never mind I found it. "

I laughed as I squeezed into my dress. Lily had some awesome taste for bridesmaids. I loved this dress. It was an aquamarine coloured halter type of dress that was tighter around the bust and it flared out just to above the knees. This dress looked great. Of course Lily had a wonderful dress as well. I was looking for my bouquet of Lilies, Of course. Everyone's hair was done Ember and I just had to help Lily into her dress.

Walking into the room and found James and his dad talking. " Am I interrupting?" I asked. I would gladly leave to let them have father son talk, and whatnot.

"Nope, we were just wondering where you, Remus,a dn Peter were," I commented, trying to get my cufflinks in place.

I sighed. he was hopeless. "Jamse, here," I said, going up to him and helping him. How was he going to survive with just Lily? She wouldn't put up with it.

I entered behind Sirius, Peter following me. "James... you'd think you could tame your hair jsut once," I joked, double checking myself in the mirror to maek sure my hair wasn't like James.

"Lily... chill," I said, zipping up my dress. It flattered me quite well, if I do say so myself. "I know where everything is in here. The bouquets are right over there in the corner, away from being trampled on in the wedding rush." I pointed to teh proper corner of the room where the pretty flowers were. "Your dress and veil are together in the closet away from prying eyes. And yes, your garter was behind me." Gee... I hoped I wouldn't be like that on my wedding day. But I knew I would be.

" I guess his hair just doesn't love Lily the way he does..." I teased. " We're all right here." I grinned. " Lily will have to make sure you have cufflinks on next time." I laughed. Looking in the mirror to double check I looked good. Nodded to myself as I aporoved of how I looked.

" I'm staying calm.....I think..." I laughed at myself. " I'm just excited is all...." I explained knowing they already knew that much. " This is great....awesome weather today too." I said happily as I looked outside and not a cloud in sight.

I raised my eyebrows. " You are excited really? On your wedding day?....who does that anymore.." I grinned to her. I got a look from her with a smirk, " You were just asking for a sarcastic remark and you know it Lil."

I laughed at Chloe's remark. I had to. "Yeah... I think the charms Remus performed should keep any bad weather away," I noted. I had gone up to him and asked him to help with that... because I wouldn't be able to handle Lily being upset over the weather today. "ready to get in that gorgeous dress of yours?"

"Apparently," I said, grinning at James.
