I grinned. "I hope so," I said. Now that I actually came to terms with it, Ember looked truly happy. I loved it... even if it was wiht SIrius tonight. "I'd be curious as to what she sang...."

As the song ended some people clapped and I turned to Ember and gave some applause. I'm not going to applaud myself. Even though I figured I did a good Job. She looked so happy....it was nice......wait what?. I turned towards the giant group, I hope Prongs didn't see anything....and if he didn't I know who sure did.....

I grinned, and clapped for Sirius. Turning to James, think we should go get some firewhiskey?" I asked him the grin still on my face. I maybe wanted to get up there.... I just wasn't sure if I actually wanted too. Maybe James could convince me?

"Of course," I said, grinning. "I can sneak away and you can come wiht.... then people would think we'r'e off having sex or something..."

I rolled my eyes. " Of course they would...because that's all the stuff that happens at dances.." I grinned. " I think getting the firewhiskey would be a good idea." I nodded. As I turned I bumped into a younger boy. He looked scared to death at James. I smiled, " Uh..Hi?" I gave him a look to say go on. He tried his best to not look at James. He asked me. " Hi...my name is Jack would you dance with me for this song?" He asked me. I looked over to James with a smile.

I sighed. "Shouldn't you be asking me?" I joked, but then I saw the look I got and i knew that was the wrong idea. "Why don't you do this... while I go get that other stuff?" I kissed Lily on the cheek, looked at Jack wiht a smile, winked at him and left.

I looked at Sirius and grinned. "You know, maybe I'll just have to sing a song... to show you up, of course," I said, making sure he knew what i was talking about.

I smiled. " Alrighty, sounds good, you get the other stuff and I'll have a dance. " I looked over to Jack. " I'd love too." I smiled, and he grinned as James left.

I raised my eyebrows, and smirked. " Think you can do it?" I asked her as I pulled her in from a spin and looked down to her.

I had put my hand up to stop myself from running into his chest... so that happened to be where my hand rested. "Oh yeah... I'm pretty sure I can do that easily." I felt myself grinning up at him, and trying to keep myself from turning red. I couldn't tell if it was working or not.

"See ya," I said. I slipped away and managed to get to the dorms without being noticed. I knew I wouldn't be... it was a dance teachers were all in the Great Hall and grounds to keep people from doing... things. I had already snuck firewhiskey into my room I just had to get it to the dance without an issue... which I was sure wouldn't be a problem as it was me who was doing the sneaking.

" You can do it easily..." I wondered. " Well, then how about EMBER GOES NEXT!" I finished in a yell, noticing her hand still on my chest I gave a smirk. " Have I been working out do you think?" I asked.

I gave a quick look around during my dance with Jack. " So you're in First year right?" I asked him. He nodded slowly. " But I'm mature for my age." I laughed. " I think you should talk to James..." Just thinking on how this kid is going to be a charmer. He smiled to me. " Would James help me talk to girls?" he asked me. I nodded slowly. " Yeh I'm sure he would. Mind you......you are talking to one right now..." I pointed out. He smiled, " Sorry.... I mean girls that are my age....to teach me how to talk to girls." I nodded slowly.

I removed my hand quickly. "I... er... Give me the mic!" I yelled, so I didn't have to answer that one. I'd much rather sing and embarrass myself that way that stand there googly eyed at Sirius. "I'll show you that I can so beat you," I said to Sirius as I got up with the microphone in my hand. "Ahem, I want you guys to vote... between me and Sirius. This will be interesting... so listen up everyone... it's time to kick ass. Sorry, Professor," I added to Dumbledore with an innocent smile.

I returned to teh Great Hall to see Ember up on stage. Oh great... I'm sure that her and Sirius were competing... just great. I saw that Lily was still dancing with the young kid... so I found Remus. "Hey... let's have a quick drink. It'll make the whole dancing thing easier... Chloe in the bathroom or something?" I gave Remus the bottle, which I had disguised as pumpkin juice. He took a swig and grinned. He would be ready for some kereoke in no time.
