It's hard to explain -- Winter 2017

Nic wanted to meet my family and I just was not sure if that was a wise idea.  I mean... they were all mental.  I hated having Seth or Dad involved.  Mumsy knew that I was sort of dating someone, but since I lived on my own, it really did not matter.  I had a nice, hot dinner made and there was the knock on the door to my flat.  I grinned and went over to it, opening it up.  Nic walked in and I wrapped my arms around him, giving him a hug and a kiss.  "Hey babe," I said to him, letting go.

I grinned at Ros and gave her another kiss. "The place smells wonderful," I said to her, my accent nowhere near as thick as it used to be. "You know this was not necessary to do."

I rolled my eyes at him. "I know," I said sweeetly. "But I wanted to." And I did not kick Sidney out of hte flat for no reason, either. I was going to have a lot of fun wiht Nic with dinner and everything. "Here, have some wine." I handed him a glass and could nto stop smiling. I could not help it. I loved the beginning parts of relationships... it was always so exciting.
