Why Don't We Just Dance -- Summer 1996

I sighed heavily, being overexaggerative.  I looked over at Lucy.  "Gee, thanks.  I'm so glad that you love me," I said, being sarcastic.  I loved givin gLucy a hard time.

I rolled my eyes at him.  "Yeah, you know I just absolutely love you dean," I said, being completely sarcastic.

I pushed her shoulder playfully.  "Gee, no need to have such sincerity in your voice, Lu," I said, though I knew that my voice was just as full of the same sarcasm as she used.

I smirked over at him.  "I don't know what you're talking about," I said to him playfully.  I was sure that I would end up being pushed into the lake, so I ooched away from him a bit.

I sighed.  "Do you really think I'd push you into the water?" I asked, feigning feeling hurt about that.  She was smart, though; that was exactly what i was thinking about doing to her.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes.  "Yeah, I think you definitely would," I said to him plainly.  "And don't act like that was not on your mind, Dean.  I know that gleam in your eyes."

I stared at her for a moment and then sprung up on my feet, catching her off guard slightly.  But she realized what I was aiming to do and started to get to her feet to run away.  "No you don't!" I said, catching her easily.  I threw her off the dock, laughing.

I rose above the water, coughing slightly from the water that I had swallowed before I had been able to close my mouth from my laughing scream.  "Dean, you are so going to pay for that," I warned him.

I just watched her as she swam towards the dock where she could pull herself back up.  "I highly doubt that, Lu," I said to her simply.  "I'm definitely not scared of you."

I pulled myself up and stood up straight, glaring at him.  "oh really?  So... if I came at you... you wouldn't run?" I asked, slowly walking towards him,r eady to chase him because I knew he would run from me.  The boys always did.
