I smiled at Lily; she need not worry about how I was enjoying the night. Today was all about her and James -- trying not to worry about the world around us. "It's wonderful," I assured her. "You have no idea how happy Tabatha and I are right now... to see James this happy and to have you in the family..."

Smiling still, " I'm glad you're having a good time." I said as we danced, " I'm happy to see him like this." I told him as I saw my husband talking away to a few people. " I'm so glad everything worked the way we wanted it too." I said proudly I had been very nervous on how everything with my parents and Petunia would be. Thankfully my sister didn't actually show up to our wedding so all was good.

I smiled at my new daughter and nodded. "It is always nice when you don't get any disturbances," I said, speaking of the one particular member of her family. "However... it would be nice if some could set aside differences to be there for their family."

" It would be nice if there wasn't any disturbances....that's not how she works sadly.." I said as the song ended. " I apologize she hasn't gone near anyone....better yet I'm surprised she's even here still..." I said as I knew she and I were on the ropes. " I didn't think she would come at all...and surprised even more so that she has been civil." I said to Mr. Potter. I sighed, " I should relax and not let her ruin the night."

I smiled at Lily. "That is exactly what you need to do," I assured her. "Trust me... no one will let her ruin this night for you." It was Lily's time to shine after all. I knew my daughter would have something to say about it if Petunia did or said anything to upset Lily.

I laughed as I could only imagine what would happen if Petunia made a scene. Although, I did see that coming sooner or later. She has been unbelievably civil. " I see it coming sooner or later." I gave him a hug as I walked over to Ember as I pointed out that Petunia has been strangely civil and if people could keep an eye on her that would be weird.

I smiled at Lily and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Don't worry, I think all of us here can take her if she gets rowdy," I teased, letting my new daughter go see my baby girl.

I was back with the wedding and the reception from being nearly mauled by Chloe... though she might say the opposite. Boris got a little carried away with this, this time. I went over to Ember and asked, "James can't let her be occupied with anyone else but him, can he?"

I looekd between the two of them, suspicious but entertained. "I still don't trust what you two were speaking out," i said to them, a smile spreading across my face. "But I guess it really oens't matter. You're a Potter now... no going back on that."

I stared at my dad. Why was it that he was on Lily's side now? I sighed and shook my head. "that doesn't give her any mor eammo. I deny that fact."

I smirked when I saw Remus. "Well, one could say the same thing about you and Chloe," I said to him casually, but he knew that I meant it with every innuendo as I could fill it with.
