And he was so close.  I laughed and rolled my eyes.  "Leo, by the looks of things, it's more than a crush," I informed him, shaking my head.  Sometimes boys were so oblivioius.  I would nto be surprised if Sedona had been feeling like that almost the entire time they had been friends.  I would give Quinn the heads up about all of this... I did not want her to get mixed up in the middle of all this drama between Leo and Dona.

I felt my mouth drop open by the fact that Sedona had feelings for me.  I closed it and ran a hand through my hair.  "Thanks, Ren... I can't believe it," I said, looking past the red head and towards where Sedona had walked off.  Should I go after her?  Well, what point would there be to do that?  I had no idea if I wanted to go down that road.  Of course I had feelings for Sedona, I just was not sure if it was the same type of feelings.

I rolled my eyes agan.  Of course he would not believe it because he was oblivious to the signs.  "Now... you can't let her know I told you.  And if you don't plan on acting on it, then tread carefully when it comes to her feelings, okay?" I suggested,wanting to get back to what I had been doing.  "That's all the warning I can tell you, mate."  I smiled and shrugged at him as I walked away.  I really hoped that he would not break Sedona's heart or my cousin's.

I nodded at Serenity.  "No... I'm won't tell her," I said absentmindedly as she walked away from me to no doubt plan a prank or something with her twin.  I walked back towards the Ravenclaw table to sit down.  I had to think about what I was going to do about this.

I was walking with Lyla through the corridors when I noticed Black looking a little upset.  I knew that Lyla would want to know about it to help her.  I nudged Lyla slightly and pointed Black out.  "She might need to talk," I said quietly.  I wanted to spend more time with Lyla, but I knew how girls banded together when they were having problems.  I was not going to stand in the way of that and then end up getting blamed for something.

I had been in the middle of a sentence when Dorian interrupted me.  I was about to get angry when I saw Sedona looking like she was on the verge of breaking down in public.  With Dona, that was a big deal.  It meant something major happened.  I looked back to my boyfriend and smiled.  Standing on my toes, I gave him a kiss.  "Thanks, Ian.  I'll make up for it, I promise," I said, squeezing his hand that I had been holding.  I flashed him a flirtatious smile when I said that, too.

I bent to make the kiss easier.  "I'll hold you to that promise, too, Ly," I said, teasing her, though I liked the idea that the promise had insinuated.  I left my girlfriend to help Black.  Besides, I had been neglecting Crabbe and Goyle all day... I was sure they would need some sort of attention.  I would go hunt them down.  As I walked away I noticed how quickly Lyla made her way to Black.

I walked over to my friend and put a hand on her shoulder, smiling apologetically for making her jump a little bit.  "Wanna talk about it?" I asked her, thinking I knew what the problem was.  I only knew of one thing that would make a girl go into tears like this... a boy.  A boy could break even the strongest of us girls.  It was horrible the power they had over some of us girls... but not me.  I was the one wtih the power and I liked it that way.

I had had my eyes closed, so I did not realize that anyone had approached me when Lyla put her hand on my shoulder.  I laughed a little bit when I jumped.  I swear she knew exactly what was wrong without me having to say a word.  I shook my head.  "Not really," I said, pushing away from the wall to start walking.  I wanted to get a lot farther away from the Great Hall at the moment... and the basement where my common room was sounded like a great place to start.

I knew that was a lie, but I would just roll with it.  I hooked my elbow with hers and walked with Sedona.  "No boy is worth any tears... not even the ones you're in love with," I told her, though I was not sure if that were true.  I just wanted to help her feel better.  I knew which of my guys I had stronger feelings for... I tried really hard not to say any strong words -- like 'love' -- when I was with either one of them.  But I knew the one who was winning my heart... I was just afraid to admit it.  Which was why I was still with the second guy; it let me avoid facing my fears for a little while longer.

Of course Lyla would say that!  I laughed a little bit and looked at her as we walked.  "Well, that's because you have two guys drooling over you," I pointed out, teasing her.  I had no idea how she did it.  She always had a way with the guys and she always was flirting with one or something.  I would never be able to do that.  And that was why I was as miserable as I was... I did not have the guts to tell Leo how I felt.

She was right about that.  I grinned at her, glad that i at least got a laugh out of her.  I knew I could get her to feel better.  "I wouldn't say they drool... but yes, I do have two wonderfully sexy men.  You could have one of them... I can share," I said, laughing.  Obviously I would not share, but it was fun to joke around especially when it would help Sedona feel better.

I stopped and stared at her, shaking my head.  "Lyla..."  I stopped and sighed.  "Do you think I'm crazy for liking him this much?" I asked her, switching topics slightly.  I knew she wanted me to talk about it... and to be honest, I needed to.  Ally has helped a lot in this area, but I wanted a fresh outlook on it.

"No, I don't think you're crazy for that reason," I said, flashing her a quick grin.  "But you are crazy for not telling him how you feel... you need to take the chance.  What's the point in being miserable if you don't even know if you have good reason for feeling that way?  At least if you take the chance you'll know if there's the possiblity of your dreams coming true or if you actually have a legitimate reason for feeling like this."  Of course I really should take my own advice; I needed to tell boht of the guys how I felt.  I just did not want to hurt him... which I knew I would.  As much as I told each of them that it was nothing serious, I knew they had gotten strong feelings for me.

I chuckled slightly at her little quip.  She did make sense, but I was not sure if I could take the leap.  I looked at her.  "Lyla, how are you doing it with two guys?" I inquired.  I was sure that it had to be utterly hectic for her to keep up with both of them.  But at least htey were not in school together anymore.
