Obsessed -- January 1975

"Well, only if you want to," I said. Wait... it sounded as though I wanted to stay with him and he wanted me to be gone. "Oh, unless you meant for me to leave you so you can rest... which is fine... I didn't mean that in any way. I just wanted to make sure you were fine before I left," I added very quickly.

I smiled kindly. "Ember, I appreciate your company, but I am feeling better. I can make it to the tower if you have other things -- like class -- to get to."

My eyes widened. Oh shoot! Charms! I laughed nervously. "Haha... yeah, I do actually. Just make sure you rest, ok? You still look like crap," I told him. "Bye Remus," I added as I started to walk away. I didn't look back... I didn't want to seem weird or anything.

I started to make my way back to teh Gryffindor Tower... I was still hurting, but not too bad. Maybe I could go to my next class... but it may be better to skip that too. merlin, I sounded like Padfoot and Prongs...

Stupid Potions....I was carrying to many things. I couldn't really see where I was going then I felt like I walked into a wall. Then I fell over and so did all my books. Oh great, " Woah!" Looking up to see who I bumped into, it was Remus. " I'm so sorry...I should be looking to where Remus. " I felt myself become very red in the face as I started to gather my five books.

Well, that sure didn't help how I was feeling. "Don't worry about it, Chloe," I assured her, bending down and helping her gather her things. "You might want to make sure that before you start carrying things you can at least see over top of them," I joked, smiling at her as I handed over the book I picked up for her.

I smiled, " Yeah...would definitely help for next time.." I looked down, " Thanks..uh..you headed to the Tower?" I asked him. I couldn't believe this, I was talking to Remus. I have had a HUGE crush on Remus and Actually being able to talk to him was a step for me.

I nodded. "If that's where you're going, give me a couple of books and we'll try to avoid another pile up," I said, smiling at her. She seemed nervous... but I don't know why... it's not like I'm a person to be nervous around; I'm not James or Sirius. I'm just Remus.

Smiling, " Oh thanks..." I handed him a few books. " I hate when he hands out work that has a million different sources to look through.." I shook my head. God, it wasn't even this hard for me to talk to Sirius.

I shrugged. "I don't normally travel with my studies," I joked. "But yes, it is a total pain. You only use the book for one tiny thing and you wasted your time looking for the book when teh answer was simple."

I laughed. " Exactly and the time in the library just seemed like it was to much, for the answers you get out of such a huge book.." I grinned. I looked over to him. He didn't look to well..." I can get you a tea or something for you.. when we get to the tower...if you like? " I asked him. Might help him feel better. plus I was going to make one for myself so I might as well share.

Ah, if only that would take away what I was feeling. But so I wouldn't hurt her feelings, and because it did indeed sound good, i said, "Sure, if you don't mind. I don't like being a bother to anyone."

I shook my head, " Not at all... " I smiled. " I know sometimes it can help...like keeping people warm..." I gave a quick shiver. The Library was freezing..." I don't know why there is no heat in the library..." I shook my head. " But to the tea...you're not a bother trust me.." I told him with a grin. I hope that didn't sound creepy.

I smiled at her. It was so easy to be around her. "I know... they should at least allow people to use magic to keep themselves warm if they're not going to heat it," I agreed. "And thanks... I figure you were going tomake yourself soem anyways?"

" Yeah, exactly... or give Madam Pince something she could give to us maybe?" I also suggested. It was so easy to open up to him. " Yes, I was going to make some anyway. I'm more than happy to share." I smiled. Moving the books slightly as we got closer to the tower. Enjoying every minute of this. I really like him, but he did not need to know that yet...
