Our hearts are locked forever -- January 1993 (DONE)

If she wanted to go into the fray full blown, that was fine by me.  I just hoped they all would behave.  I knew my familly... they were ruthless somtimes.  I smiled at her.  "That is fine by me," I said, not believing how happy I really was about this.  I have always wanted to be a father... and here was my chance.  I just hoped I would be half the dad that my dad is to all of us.  "I know mum would love all of us to be there... and, you know, Charlie could be the buffer between the family and us if there's any negativity towards meeting you and finding out we're expecting in the same visit."  That was probably the best idea.

I hugged Bill again.  This was going to be so great!  It will be difficult, yes, but I was so glad that he was taking it so well compared to what I was expecting.  We finished the afternoon in a relaxing kind of way, joking around about names already and trying to decide if we wanted to find out what we were having before the birth and all of those types of details so we would be on the same page.
