Playing matchmaker -- October 1988

I rolled my eyes at my brother.  "If you need help, I can give it as much as I can," I offered, knowing that the OWLs were nerveracking.  I knew the NEWTs were.  I was not sure how much time I could give to help them with their studying when I had my own to do plus being Head Boy plus being a Chaser on the Quidditch team.  Plus, trying to find time for a date with Tonks.

Laughing as he said he could help us, " Well, I wouldn't want to be a bother to you...I mean...quidditch and newts for yourself. I think I would end up being a problem. Not sure what Charlie would think...." I pointed out teasing my friend as he stood beside us.

I smiled, shrugging.  "I'm sure I can help a little bit," I said, though I was nto going to give them all of my time by any means.

I furrowed my brow slightly at what Bill was saying.  "A study date isn't want I was talking about," I said nonchalantly, shrugging.  "But I think we can handle the studying part, William."  Oh yes, I pulled out his full name.

"Which in Charlie speak means, he'll bother me to help him study..." I said with my eyebrows raised and a smirk. It would be like that as it usually is majority of the time anyway. " We would appreciate any help." I said as I understood where he was coming from. At least a bit.

I smirked, nodding.  "Trust me... I am fluent in Charlie-speak," I assured tonks.  "I don't mind helping at all.  Just don't wait for me to start studying."  I gave Charlie an extremely pointed look on that one; I was not too concerned about Tonks' study habits.

I shrugged, grinning.  "You know, normally I woudl be offended by all of this, but it's the truth," I said simply.  "And I odn't think that 'Charlie-speak' is a language, Bill."

I couldn't contain the laughter, " This case...it is its own language." I pointed out to him. Whether or not he wanted to hear it.

I grinned.  "We win, you lose. Again," I pointed out to Charlie, just to rub his nose in it.
