I knew I loved you---- 4 October 1980

I shook my head at all of them.  "Listen, we won't be sneaking off to go shag in the coat closet," I assured them.  It at least would nto be the coat closet and we would not get caught anyways.  I could not believe that during all of this everyone was smiling and laughing.  People needed to do that right now to remember what we were fighting for.

I laughed and put my arm around Sirius.  "You are so lucky that you can win me over so easily," I told him, giving him a light kiss before looking at Remus and Chloe.  "Oh, I don't know... I think the blushing bride might have other plans."  I winked at Chloe.

"Good choice.." I muttered as I smiled to my husband who now reminded me of a child who got caught doing something he wasn't suppose to do. I looked around and noticed how happy everyone is. " I think I am actually the best one to avoid being caught by anyone. " I pointed out. As I smirked as I received looks. " It's true...mind you I had someone scaring everyone away from me..." I said as I laughed at his expression.

I smiled innocently at my beautiful wife.  "I have no idea what you're speaking of, dear," I said simply, thinking it was best to change topics, though.  "I think, though, that we really should be focusing on the bride and groom... not the wedding party and their past stories that everyone here already knows anyways..."

Laughing a little, " yes, I agree we should think about the bride and groom." I nodded as I continued, " All you have to do is make it through your first dance...than by all means go to town." I said with a slight shrug and a grin.

I laughed and rolled my eyes.  "Well, I'm so glad that we have your permission now," I said to the group, feigning frustration.

Smirking I hip bumped the bride, who turned and smiled at me. I innocently smiled and blamed my husband who was standing with me. " Let's get this party going." I said happily as I was ecstatic to see the pair of them smile.

Laughing I hip humped lily back as I continued. " Yes, lets get going!" I said as we were about to enter the reception where we would be introduced as Mr. And Mrs. Lupin. I couldn't be happier. " Also, if we want to sneak away we will." I informed them all.

"Yes... I think we definitely need to get in there" I said, hearing some murmuring thanks to my furry little problem.  I looked at everyone.  "And I think it's time to get some drinks in us... we've all had a long day, what better way to relax a little bit?"

I cheered along with the others as we waited to get told to go in as James and I led the way into the room. Looking back before the doors closed, I winked to the others. I was so happy for them, no one could ruin this. They better not anyway. " I'm so happy for them" I said to my husband as we got to the table.

I walked with everyone into the hall, having stayed quiet while thye were all joking around.  I did not have what any of them had -- no one wanted me... but the one I wanted was with my best mate.  I was so overly jealous of James... and that was part of hte reason why I was going towards the darker side.  I smiled and clapped with everyone, though.  If anyone deserved a happy ending, it was Remus.

They were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Lupin the pair of them came in just glowing. I pulled out my camera and took some photos. This was going to be a good night for them. Again, no one better ruin it. I looked to James as they had there first dance. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I watched.

We walked in to the crowded room full of people we loved to help us share this special day. I pulled Remus out to the middle of the dance floor for our first dance. To where the flashes started, " You know...I may have some vision problems..." I said with a laugh as I was referring to the cameras going off and the flash temporarily taking my vision from me.

In all the years I had known Moony, I did not recall him ever being so happy.  I smiled and put my arm around Lily.  I knew that this day was even more special to my best mate than to any one of us when we got married -- he had found someone to be himself with.  Something he never thought would be possible due to his furry little problem.  And Chloe... she looked gorgeous.  I was not sure if I had ever seen her this happy, either, to be honest.

I laughed and shook my head slightly at my new bride.  "Or we'll go into fits of seizure," I added, unable to stop grinning.
