I smiled, " You have an inability to lie to me....I like being able to tell when you're up to something.." I said pointedly. It would ruin surprises in the future. But maybe he could work on constantly smiling when he was up to something. It was odd he looked to me for a reaction to quite a few things. It was adorable. I had just shrugged her remark off that day. And now, it was time for her big concert. I wondered how nervous she was... I mean, I was excited for her. We had gotten the parents to come -- including Mrs. Lupin who wanted to be here, too. Some other family members to other students were allowed... just sort of a big gathering. Some students left to go home, others stayed. I liked the idea of having the option... so hopefully most of the naysayers would have gone home. I knew it was unlikely, but one coudl hope. I had a plan in place for anyone who would ruin this night for Elena.

I went backstage and found her. I gave her a big kiss and grinned at her. "Everything is nearly in place," I told her.

I smiled as I clutched my guitar close. I was in my concert clothes, my aquamarine dress and my hair thrown in an updo. With sparkled earrings and the necklace George gave me, with my silver heels. " I am super excited and super nervous. I smiled, " I am glad to hear it....Oh, here's my song list. " I handed it to him to give to the lighting. " Thank you so much for this...." I said giving him a kiss. I got a five minute warning, I turned to him and smiled, " Here I go.." I walked towards back stage. I took a deep breath as Professor Dumbledore introduced me.

I knew George was out there. I was happy to hear it. " I walked over to the microphone as I got applause. " Uh, Thanks everyone." I said fidgeting with my guitar. " So, uh..we're done exams. How awesome is that?" I asked waiting for a shouting from the students who were still here. I looked around the crowd that had formed. " So I have a few different genres for you....I'll get into the first song here...a little bit of an intro is this is for people close to my heart. " I said as I turned my guitar over and started strumming on it as I got the other effects like drumming being handled.

I looked over at my parents and smiled, hoping they knew it was for them and this is the first time I sang in front of them.

I finished the song, and couldn't stop smiling. " Thank you." I said as I looked over to my mum and dad.

I cheered and clapped for my little sister, still not believing that was her up there. She was all grown up. And I was so happy that George did this for her. I mean... I guess it woudl make it hard for me to give him a hard time anymore. Especially since I knew what he was planning on doing... he had asked my permission, too. Which I thought was hilarious.

I wasn't sure who was more nervous, Lenni or me. She had to sing in front of everyone... and I was going to pour m yheart and soul out to her and prayed that she'd say yes. I really hoped that it would just make this night even better for her and not dampen it if she didn't say yes or wasn't ready. I clapped and hollered for her with everyone one else. That was my girl up there living her dream. Even if it woudl be just one night... I was able to give that to her.

You should know who you are." I said as I let the drums lead me in. " I have a little surprise for some people...I made a slideshow for while I sing this..." I said pulling out my wand and making the screen come down. It was photos of the Marauders and mum and aunt lily and chloe. Then leading photos into the kids and everyone that knows them and loves them. " Just something I put together."

I couldn't believe that George had done this for Elena! This was fantastic. I looked around and saw that everyone was so happy... and having a good time.

I clapped along with the large group that had come to see our little girl who wasn't so little anymore pouring her heart out. Hearing she had a surprise for us, I waited to see it. I saw pictures of us going up there and I grinned, she is truly my daughter. I put an arm around Ember, " This is the first time I have heard her actually sing."

I finished and looked around as I found my family, it was a lot for the Lupin's Remus and Will in particular as well. Even for the Weasley's everyone now and then needed help. I felt this song had a huge connection for people if they liked it.
