I had enough energy to roll my eyes. "Let Lily help you," I instructed with the same raspy voice. Merlin... I was just so weak... I needed to rest. But I couldn't. I needed to know what was going on. "Is... am I... Lily, alone please," I managed to get out of my jumbled mess in my head. I needed to know if everything was okay with my baby. Sirius was stubborn, so I knew that he would live. But my baby may not be as tough as his father.

I rushed over to Ember's side and looked at Sirius. " I will have them help me hold you down so I can fix it Sirius.." I warned. Looking to Ember, " The baby is okay...." I knew what they were going to have. " Strong as his parents." I said happily to her while I looked at her arms, " You on the other hand I need to get you some food and you need to drink this. " I said handing her a mix of skele-grow, and quick fix. She had a few broken ribs, " No strenous anything...Understand?"

I rested my head on my back on the pillow. "Good..." I breathed out. I took the medicine and swallowed it while cringing at the taste. "I'll behave, Lily," I added. I could sort of feel it working already. "Sirius, honey, if you don't sit still long enough for them to fix you up? I will not be able to make myself get better if you don't try to fix yourself," I instructed. I adjusted myself into a more upright position. I gave him the sternest look I could muster.

I was relieved to hear that my niece or nephew was okay. I slumped into a chair and ran my hand through my hair. "What even happened?" I questioned... "How did it start? There has to be some explanation..." I just couldn't believe it.

I nodded as I walked over to James to make sure he was okay. " Agreed, how did it even happen??" I said as I wrapped his wrist up " You have a broken wrist..." I said pouring him some skele-grow as well. " Drink it." I instructed as I was hurt myself, but I had to make sure everyone else was better. I walked back over to Sirius. " Sit down..." i said as Sirius scowled at Ember for what she said but he sat down mumbling. " Oh, come on Sirius.... " I said as I started looking at him to fix him up. " You have a bruise on your back, Broken wrist and a few ribs..." I said as I listed his injuries. Sighing as I poured him. " Drink it..." I ordered, as I went back over to James " Anything else hurt sweetheart?" I asked him.

I drank the potion as Lily ordered. Looking over to James, " You mean how did it start when they got here?" I asked, not really waiting for a response. " When you guys left we were cleaning up and going to get to bed, and I went to lock the gate.....they were waiting for me to step outside." I said quietly angry at myself that I should have known something might have happened with many things happening around us. So, it was only a matter of time before it happened to us because of me. I sighed, " There were about ten of them....and five or six... I can't really remember just how many there were keeping me on the main floor of the house...I don't know what happened...upstairs. " I said almost at a whisper. I couldn't fight hard enough to keep her here. So, if htere was any big problems with our child it would be because of me.

Relieved we got her back, " I'm just glad everyone is okay...." I said with a small smile. I was still beating myself up the fact if I didn't get my ass kicked, I could have kept her safe.

I looked over to Sirius as he explained what happened, " That's terrible....." I said quietly while looking over to Ember whom was just sitting up, drinking the potion Lily had ordered her to drink. Smiling, Lily is very much the mother of our group. Who knows what would happen if we didn't have Lily. I looked over to Remus, " What about you... you okay?"

"And upstairs... well, I don't remember which one it was... all I know is that they're disgusting pigs," I said, rolling my eyes as that was no surprise. I looked at Sirius. "Honey, stop it. I know that look of self-loathing... everything worked out to be fine. Now come over here and relax. We're both okay," I told him, putting a hand on my stomach. "Lily said so."

"Babe, I'm fine," I answered. "And you need to focus on you, now... how can I help you?" I asked, touching her arm lightly with concern written all over my face. She needed help... and I didn't know much but she could walk me through it.

I shook my head at what Sirius just told us. That was... I couldn't even find the words. I walked over to Chloe and sat down. "I'm alright, Chlo," I said, kissing her on the forehead.

I smiled as I walked over and sat down on the floor in front of her. I guess it was in my instincts. " That look will still be there..." I informed her, this was way to close for any comfort. " A long while...and yes you both are fine..." I nodded as if it added extra.

I smiled at him, " I'm all right sweetheart." I said. " Just some bumps and cuts." I said, " just need to wash them off and I'll be fine. " I couldn't believe how brutal this had been for us all. I'm just glad I got Em and the baby stabilized.

I rested my head on the pillow again, reaching out to hold Sirius's hand. "I just hope that we'll be able to be safe..."

Smiling, " We will be good....I will make sure of it." i gave a nod as extra emphasis. Looking around the room I made sure everyone was all right, I found myself sitting in a chair, " If anyone needs me.." I said with a yawn, I was exhausted,I fell asleep sitting in the chair.
