We got something that will never die, our love, our lives----April 15th 1980

We walked along the road, heading to the home Sirius bought for himself and Ember. I like Ember, she keeps him somewhat under control. I was surprised when they got together though. A part of me thought I would never see that day happen, when Sirius dated someone and I'm meaning really dated someone. "Don't you find it amazing and crazy how all of us school chums seem to be getting married, or have gotten engaged?" I smiled. Love was sort of an amazing feeling. It did things to you. It made you see things differently. It made you forget about the danger that could just be lurking around the corner.

We headed up to Grimmauld place, it really is something nice that everyone was getting together. " I admittedly am shocked that Sirius and Ember are engaged I mean, I figured it'd happen sooner or later. " I said with a grin.

"I'm really most surprised she stuck it out with him for so long," I told him with a laugh. "Sirius can get pretty wild, but it is obvious that he loves her." I smiled up at Ted. We got to Grimmauld Place and I did the secret code so that it would show itself. I was getting more and more excited, the more and more it showed itself.

I heard some muffled voices outside. Ember had gone out so I had the house to myself so naturally I was very bored, I had heard someone so naturally I went bounding for the door. " Hello?" I said loudly as I flung the door open to reveal Andromeda and Ted. " Hey guys..C'mon in. "

"Hi Sirius." I smiled at him and gave him a gently hug. "I got some news for you." He led us into the kitchen. He gave me a look that said he already knew, but also said he wasn't sure what I might say. I held out my hand to show him the ring. "Ted proposed to me." I smiled wide.

I grinned, " That is great!" I said giving my congratulations. I was glad something happy was going on. " So, needless to say you said yes?" I teased. " Tea?" I had to keep myself busy and it was driving me nuts not doing anything.

"Tea sounds lovely." Something was off about Sirius. He truly did look happy for me, but there was something else. Something was bothering him. "Sirius," I was being hesitant, "is everything okay?"

I didn't really want to go into detail. " Yeah, everything is fine Andy." I said with a somewhat convincing smile on my face. " I'm alright." I said with a smile. I havent gotten much sleep lately.

I knew when Sirius was lying. I've had years to read his face. I didn't know weather I should push him into details on what was bothering him though. I sat down for tea and just watched him. Watching his actions the way I used to when I was younger. He was moving a bit sluggishly, which might be a cause of lank of sleep. He hands would shake a little bit, and then he'd clench them into fists to stop them, although they would just shake more anyways.

" Don't look at me like that." I snapped to her. I knew I lookedl ike crap, Em was missing and I couldn't do anything yet... I had to wait and see what was going on. " Don't worry about me...Congratulations to you both." I said as I held up my cup of tea.

I jumped some when Sirius snapped at me, he never did that. I couldn't even look at him now. "Thanks.." I mumbled when he congratulated us. This day just turned upside down and it was all because I wanted to come see Sirius.

I sighed, " I'm sorry I haven't got much sleep lately. " I explained. I didn't know if i should go into deep cpnversation it would just make me mad. " Ember's gone...." I said simply as I felt the anger boil inside. " I really mean congratulations. It's good happiness is still around even when that lunatic is around. " Just worried about everyone...I mean Ember's still here and with me but ever since that time where we had to hunt for her..I have become nervous when she leaves the house. " I said.

"Wait, so you mean to tell me she is gone again, as in someone has taken her? Or has she just gone out?" I was a little confused at what Sirius meant, but /i wanted to help anyway that I could.
