It was no accident, me finding her -- Summer 2017

I was so hapyp by the way Dean was smiling.  "I am so glad," I said to him.  "You deserve to be this happy... you've worked hard to get where you are."

I had no idea why I felt surprised by my mother being pleased to see me happy.  "Ah, well, I fear that it won't be lasting too long," I admitted to her.  "I'm worried about how this will affect the kids.  It hasn't been long since Addison, Mum... The kids don't realize that the last five years or so... Addie and I had ended up distancing ourselves from each other.  And we were starting to become at least mates again.  So for me to move on so quickly -- from their points of view -- I'm worried it won't go over well."

I shook my head at Dean.  "Why don't you focus on you for a little bit?  The kids are almost back to school... so just see how things go wtih Juliet and then worry about the kids," I advised.
