Madelyn and I had finally unpacked an we had invited Dean, Addie and the kids over for some supper.  I knew it would be interesting because, well, Dean had his mood swings after having been paralyzed -- for the most part.  Addison had kept in touch with me as well, just not as often as Dean and I had been doing since I moved to America.  I looked at Lyn and smiled.  "I don't know how we're going to handle four kids running around," I teased, knowing that sometimes it was difficult with just Rory.

I was really excited about going and seeing Uncle Jetty and Auntie Madelyn.  We had not seen them in forever.  I mean, they lived in the States for awhile.  Stan and Rory got along really good... I liked him, but there were some problems.  I just could not wait.  I was even helping my mum and dad by getting my brother ready to go.  "Here, let me find you some shoes," I suggested to him knowing that to arrive barefoot would not be okay.  Mum would probably yell at us if we were without shoes.

I went into the living room and saw Dad all ready.  "Hey," I said to him.  "I'm super excited to see Uncle Jetty adn Auntie Lyn again -- and Rory!  I bet he's bigger than Stan now..."  I could tell that Dad was not entirely there.  He was in his own little world... like usual.

I let Ryan help me because soem things I was good at -- others not so much.  But I hardly ever spoke about the things I was not good at, RJ just knew.  We were best mates and brothers, of course he knew.  "I can't wait to see Uncle Jetty and them again," I said to him, letting him tie my shoes.

I went to my daughter's room and saw that she was already out talking to Dean.  I thought that this would be good for him.  It had been a hard couple of years for him to adjust to being paralyzed -- or mostly paralyzed.  I went into the boys' shared bedroom and smiled when I saw Ryan helping his big brother.  "You two ready to go?" I asked.

I sat in my chair kind of solemnly, but I plastered a smile onto my face when my daughter came into the room starting to yammer.  I could not help but chuckle -- sh ewas always so talkative.  "I doubt he's bigger than Stan," I said to her.  "Stan's kind of big for his age... but he's probably bigger than RJ."  I knew these guys were exccited to see Jetty, Lyn, and Rory.  We wrote to them as often as we could.  The kids loved them.

I found my parents talking quietly and went up to them.  "When are they gonna be here?" I asked.  I loved playing with Stan and Ryan whenever we got to see them.  I sort of stayed away from Sedona -- she was a girl.

I chuckled at my boys and bent down to straighten some things up.  "They'll be here for supper," I said to Rory.  "Don't worry about the time it takes for them to arrive."  I ruffled Rory's brunette hair and walked into the kitchen to refill his juice.  "Why don't you two play a game while you wait or something?"  I suggested from the kitchen.

I chuckled.  "That sounds like a very good idea," I said.  I sat Rory down and grinned at him.  I started to make shapes of smoke out of hte tip of my wand, making them different colors.  I made him say the shape rather than the color and then changed it around.  He loved doing this.  Then I made them say colors, but he had to actually call out the color they were in not the color that was written.  I felt ike this kept his brain active and made him a quick learner.

I looked up at Mum and grinned.  "Yep," I assured her.  "Just finished getting ready."  I knew that things were going to be awesome.  I jumped to my feet and Stan followed suit.  One would think I was the big brother, but i twas the other way around.

"I bet Rory will outgrow everyone," I said, wondering if that would actually be true.  Mum and the boys came out from the bedroom and I grinned at them.  Dad looked at all of us, seemign to be having a good day today.  "We're all ready, finally."

I followed closely to my younger brother.  One would think he was the older brother with the way that he helped me.  I still had a hard time sometimes.  Depending on noises, I was able to see some sort of echo-location-type vision.  It was really weird and it gave me a headache sometimes.  I stayed quiet, not seeing the need to say anything.  I knew Ryan and Dona would more than fill the silence.

I double checked everyone with just a glance.  "Alright, let's Floo there quickly now.  Dean, love, you're apparating?" I questioned.  I knew that the answer would be a yes.  I did not blame him for choosing ot Apparate rather than Floo because of the chair.  It would surely be a disaster if he even tried.

I flashed Addison a smile.  Yes, I was having a rough day... but I needed to be my best for them.  I nodded.  "I'll see you lot there," I said.  "Make sure you speak clearly and behave until things have settled there, okay?"  I wanted to make sure that for the few minutes they may be unsupervised, that they would behave.

I laughed at the things Dad had floating out of his wand.  "That's awesome!" I said loudly.  Then there was a sound from the fireplace.  I grinned and saw that Sedona walked through the fire.  "They're here!"
