I'm gonna cannonball into the water - 2009

"Well... there's the same position opening up back in England.  They asked if I wanted to take it," I said.  I knew England was never Lyn's home.  But her parents were back there and it was my home, too.  I hoped that Lyn would be open about the option.

I knew Jetty always missed being in England.  His whole family and friends were there.  He had just come to teh States running from the loss of his serious girlfriend at the time.  I knew he missed his nephews -- I missed them.  I missed my parents and brother, too.  "Oh?" I said, knowing I had to say something.

I could easily see the hesitation. I took hold of her hand.  "I told them to give me at least a week to talk to you and discuss everything," I explained.  I thought that this would be great.  Rory would be able to be with family.

I nodded, thinking this through.  "And you want to do this?" I clarified.  I already knew the answer to that.  I would definitely miss the States, but this would probably be good for all of us.  I could see my little brother more than I did now.  Rory coul be with his uncle and cousins...

It was really hard to judge what Madelyn was thinking. "I'd love to.  But only if you want to," I assured her.  I just hoped that we would move... but I was not going to make her.

I sighed.  "I think it's clear what to do," I explained, pushing hair from my face.  "We should move.  I've been thinking more and more about it, actually.  With the family all living over there... it'd make more sense." I knew this would make Jetty feel so happy about everything.

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her.  When I pulled away, I was grinning.  "You're serious?" I asked, wanting to make sure.

I nodded at him, biting my lip.  "Yeah, I'm serious.  I think it'd be a good idea," I said.  We spent the rest of the night discussing everything.  With being an artist, I coul work anywhere.  This really would be such a great idea.
