Not Causing Trouble, Eh? -- Fall 1984

I looked at Hagrid and actually had to think about that one.  "I really like the chinese fireballs," I said to him after a moment.  "But the Norwegian Ridgebacks are cool... I love the dangerous qualities of the Hungarian Horntails, though.  I want to work with one of those... just for the thrill of it.  And to make sure that it gets the attention it deserves since no one would want to deal with the Horntail."  I shut up, not entirely sure if he had wanted me to talk so much about the subject.  But the grin on his face and the twinkle in his eyes told me I was quite alright.

I was rather excited to hear him go on about the dragons the way he was.  I was smiling at the boy.  "The rigebacks are the cutest," I agreed.  "Horntails are dangerous... but just misunerstood creatures."

I smirked and nodded at Hagrid.  "I definitely agree!" I said, getting really excited.  "I would love to travel and see dragons. have you ever?" I asked him.

I sighed and poured us each some more tea.  "Nah, I wish, though," I said.  "I would really like ter do it one day."  I liked this Weasley kid.  He was a good kid in general... an' I knew Arthur an' Molly.  Tha' was jus' one good thing.

"Maybe you can," I suggested to him, thanking him properly for the extra cup of tea.  I also took one of his rock cakes, but after one bite... I felt like I lost my teeth.  I still finished eating the bite, though, so I would not offend Hagrid.  "I've been reading a lot about dragons in the library... there are some reservations and the like in Romania."

I drank some more tea.  "O' course there is!  Romania is a common place fer dragons, yeh know," I replied.  "Yeh want ter travel,t hen, do yeh?"

I nodded.  "Yeah, but not overly travel, you know?" I said to the gamekeeper.  "I just want to go where the dragons are... my older brother, Bill, he's the one thirsty for adventure and wants to travel greatly.  I don't know where we're gonna end up, but it probably won't be in England."

I grinned.  "I know yeh brother," I told the boy.  "He's really a smart lad."  I loved the Weasley family... as soon as Charlie said who he was... and i knew the red hair anywhere.

I nodded.  "Bill is brilliant," I agreed, sipping at the tea he made me to be polite.  It did not taste the best, though.  I was taught to behave, though.  However, it did not always happen that way.  "Do you think they'll ever find a way to help tame dragons so one can own a pet one?"  I loved talking about my family, but I hated it at the same time.

I chuckled at Charlie easily dismissing his older brother.  "Ah, I wish they would," I said to him, shaking me head slightly.  "Perhaps one day..."

"That would be brilliant," I said happily, looking forward to a little bit more with the dragons.  "I would love to work with them at one point..."

I raised my eyebrows.  "Oh?  Tha' would be fun," I agreed.  "Maybe get 'em someplace where they'd be safe an' things like tha'."

I grinned at the gamekeeper.  "Exactly!  There are places like that, yea?  I mean... I should start looking into that now if i want to do something like that after I leave school..." I mused.

I nodded. "I believe ou' in Romania,"I said. "A long way away from home, if yeh ask me." I knew I would not be accepted much else other than Hogwarts for meself.
