I chuckled as she traced my soft lines -- I would not call them wrinkles -- and some scars that were traces of things I had done in the past as Boris.  I shook my head at her.  "Sometimes they are... but sometimes, they are just left over laughs and smiles.  And some of them," I moved my hand over a particular one, "are reminders of past mistakes and tears... but they aren't just for old people, love."

I grinned at my daddy.  "Laughs and smiles!  I bet I made all of those on you," I said to him.  "Except that one, that was probably Mum.  Will didn't make any."

"You don't think your brother is funny?" I asked her, smiling and chuckling.  I knew that answer quite well.

I shook my head.  "Nope.  He might give you angry lines, though.  He's a grouch!" I said, giggling a bit.  I loved picking on Will!

I laughed at Lucy.  "I don't know about that," I said to her.  "I think a lot of my lines come from... my other half.  But we don't need to talk about that."  I grinned at her.

"No!  That's not fun to talk about," I agreed.  "But it is fun to tease Will!"  I giggled crazily again because i enjoyed picking on Will.

I chuckled and shook my head at my little daughter.  "Honey, it's not very nice to talk about Will, though," I pointed out to her gently.  "He is your big brother; you shoudl love him."

I shrugged.  "Some days I do," I said, grinning at him.

Lucy's innocent, yet mischievous smile made me laugh.  "You, missy, are lucky that you are so adorable," I said to her, shaking my head.  "Or else you could get into so much trouble sometimes."

"I know," I said, taking Daddy's hand and starting to walk.  "You love me anyways."

I sighed, shaking my head. "You are quite right about that," I agreed, wondering how such a small girl could see right through her dad.
