I shook my head, chuckling.  "Linc, don't worry about me.  It's done and over with.  I'm not too concerned about it," I assured him.  There was no point in doing so, though Alicia and Angie would hear about it.

We walked to the greenhouse in silence and there was no way I was going to keep talking about it.  If she was upset, she hid it well.  our partnership in the greenhouse was not compromised at all.
