I sighed.  "This could go on forever," I pointed out to James.  "I don't know if that's wise to let it go..."

I punched Moony playfully on the arm.  "Yeah, probaly not... but it is a good thing to see you acting normal again."  I had missed my best mate acting like himself.

I looked over at James.  "Did you miss me or something?" I asked him, smirking slightly.

Of course Moony would go the Marauder route and be conceited about such a statement.  But he was right.  I grinned at him and noded.  "Yeah... that's exactly what's going on," I assured him.

I knew I should nto be startled by James' honesty.  I smiled at him, putting an arm around his shoulder.  "Wel, Prongs, I'm here and as back to normal as I can get for the time being," I assured him. "There's no need to be missing me."

I chuckled.  "Well, I'm glad that you're back," I assured him.  "I just wish that it would not have been that long... oh well.  I kind of liked crazy Remus, too."

I punched James on the shoulder lightly.  "Don't do that to me.  Who was it that tol dme all I needed was time?" I teased.

I smirked and shrugged.  "Don't worry... I like the normal you, too," I assured one of my best mates.  "You know we'll eal with you no matter what you're like."

I rolled my eyes at Prongs.  "I'm glad you'll just deal with me no matter what," I said to him.  "Quite right, too, because I've had to deal with you for years..."

I looked over at Moony, grinning.  I could not help it.  "I don't think we've ever been that bad. And really, in all honesty, you wouldn't have helped us find loopholes in the rules if you didn't enjoy the pranking, too."

I sighed, trying not to smile at that thought.  "I know... I finally admit it.  I'm coming clean," I said to Prongs, laughing a bit.  "I was the mastermind behind the whole Marauder operation."

I stared at moony and shook my head.  "Merlin, your cockiness has gone through the roof," I pointed out to him, winking.  I was okay with ti.  I liked having my mate back.

"I've always been cocky," I pointed out to him.  "I just hid it most of the time.  Now I just dn't bloody care."  I laughed at the look on Prongs' face.

"Clearly," I muttered shaking my head, but having a grin on my face.  "I think we ought to head back and... well, attempt to return to civilization without it being obvious we were complaining."

I chuckled a bit.  "Please, they know we get together to complain," I assured James.  "I just don't think they realize what it is exactly that we do speak of."
