It is important to remember that we all have magic within us -- Fall 1986?

I put a hand on her shoulder.  "You'll get them.  Just because it wasn't today like me, doesn't mean you won't get them one day," I said hopefully.  I hated to see my sister feeling down.

I smiled and nodded at my brother. "Maybe it'll be tomorrow!" I said hopefully. My brother always knew the right things to say to make me feel better.

I nodded at her.  "That would work out well," I said, chuckling.  "Maybe instead of playing we should plot our revenge..." I was only half joking about that.

"Plot our revenge and develop my magic." I added. That seemed to be a key factor in this revenge thing, me having magic.

I grinned at her.  "Well, yeah, we'll be needing that too," I said, nodding.  "But the longer it takes the better our revenge could be."  I did not want her to feel any pressure.

I nodded, knowing he just wanted me to feel better about not getting my powers yet. "Let's get started right now!"

"We need to make sure that we don't end up getting caught by Father... we need a good lookout spot," I said, figuring we should start with safety of our own butts than anything else.

"What about my room?" I suggested. "Mother and Father don't usually go in there since we mostly play in yours" I liked that he was thinking of protecting us first.

"That's perfect!" I said, loving how Juniper was the brains of the operation.  Well, in that manner of speaking.  "We could get some of that slimey gook stuff from the potions ingredient Father has... and get them covered in it.  They'd have no idea what it was!"

I giggled, and bounce up and down. This plan was really coming together. "If we start now and only take a little bit every couple of days, Father won't even notice it's gone and by the time we master our powers, we'll have enough!" I smiled widely at my brother, happy with my part of the plan.

"Excellent thinking!" I agreed.  That way there was only a small chance we would get caught.  "Maybe I should do the sneaking?  That way you don't get in trouble."  Father was always more harsh wiht Juniper on punishments.

I shook my head. "I'll do it, you be lookout. He'll expect it more from me." I knew my brother was almost prefect in our parents eyes while I was not. I always seemed to be behind him, crawling, walking and now magic. Our parents, more specifically our Father, wanted things to happen when he wanted them to happen and I usually couldn't meet the requirements.

I shrugged.  "If that's what you want," I said.  That way I could probably more easily protect her, though.  So it may be better this way.

I nodded "It is." I stood up and started towards the door. "Let's start now." I was eager to get started now that we had a plan.

Well, June was definitely up for this revenge plan.  I stood up and peered into the hallway.  "They're at the table," I whispered.  I hoped that only one of them would move at a time... I could stall one long enough for Juniper to get out, but maybe not both of them.  They would know something was up then.  "Just be fast, okay?"
