I gave a small laugh. "That's the last thing we need, another Father." I shuddered at the thought of it. "You know I would never let that happen."

I nodded at her.  "I know," I said to her simply.  "But it doesn't necessarily mean that it still doesn't worry me that it may happen."

"I know." The last thing I wanted for my brother was to turn into our Father, he deserved so much better. "But you have to trust me that I won't let it happen. I'll do what it takes if you start heading down the road to stop you."

I smirked at her. "Like hitting me upside the head, right?" I teased.  I did trust Juniper.  She really was the only one person I did trust completely.

"Correct." I smiled widely over at my twin. "I am willing to make that sacrifice for you." I gave a small laugh. I knew Draco would do the same thing for me if it came to that.

I smirked, shaking my head.  "And I'm glad that you'd make that sacrifice," I said to her.  "I know how hard that would be for you to do."

"It would be so hard Draco," I agreed sarcastically, "but thats what twins are for." I smirked back at him and stuck out my tongue. I was joking, but we both knew we would do just about anything for each other. Truthfully, we were really all each other had

"Just watch it," I pointed out ot her.  "Because if I ever had to repay the favor to you... well, they say karma is a bitch."  I knew that if I had said that at home, Father would not be pleased because we were young to be saying such things -- but we would be praised by saying Mudblood or anything similar to that.  It always made sense when we were home... but now?  Well, it hardly did.  Though I would never say such a thing out loud.

I gave a small smirk. "We're talking about karma now hu?" I raised my eyebrow slightly. "Karma is a bitch." I agreed. Something came to my mind then and I turned to my twin. "Does that mean karma will get Father back someday?"

I chuckled when Juniper spoke and the smile faded slightly.  "I hope so," I said to her darkly.  That would be the day.

I realized then what it was we were really saying and I quickly looked around to ensure Father hadn't heard. Once I remembered we were at school and Father wasn't here, I turned back to Draco and gave a humourless chuckle. "Force of habit." I explained unnecessarily, knowing Draco would understand. "We best never let Father hear us talking like this." I knew Draco understood this as well, but I felt the need to say it out loud anyway.

I shuddered involuntarily at the thought of Father hearing us speak like this.  "Well, we're smarter than that, aren't we?" I pointed out to her.  Though, if the day would come that karma got back to Father... well, I was not going to stand in the way.

I shuddered with Draco at the thought of Father hearing us nodded vigorously. "Definitely." I agreed with a shaky breath. "We're smart enough to know how to act in front of him."

"Of course we are," I assured her.  "We know better."  I was nevre going to let Father know of my doubts.  Any of them, evne if they were silly.

I nodded, not really focusing on anything. "We do know better." I repeated in agreement. I shook my head to clear it before I turned to my twin and forced a smile. "And that is a very good thing we know better than to act this way in front of him."
