I nodded. "Yes he was. Sirius had feelings fr me! But James was beign a prick," I said, rolling my dark eyes. "I told him off, naturally... Anyways, needless to say, I didn't return to the dance. I got some ice cream and changed into pajamas. Soon Lily joined me and we brooded about the guys being stupid and stuff."

I laughed. "Well, James and Sirius came in and those two made up. Sirius and I talked.... and it was a very good talk. We're an item now," I said,unalbe to contain my grin.

I nodded. "yeah, he got it for me. I definitely didn't expect to get something from him. I hadn't gotten him anything.... but he didn't care or anything," I explained.

Those two were rather entertaining. "Well, if you gave him a kiss, then that really is all a guy like Sirius ever really wants, isn't it? I mean... really," I pointed out. I did not necessarily want to rain on her parade, but i was true.

I glared at Michael. "And this is why I normally don't tell boys things," I pointed out, even though I knew he was kind of right. I could not help but be a little worried about that, but he was not there. This was not just some fling that Sirius was going to have. He put himself out there -- something he never did with anyone before. I still had a hard time believing it myself.

I smacked Michael for being so ignorant about the situation. "Ems, don't think like that. I mean, he was so wonderful to you at the dance -- until the argument with James. Don't let Michael ruin that," I said, giving Michael another dirty look.

I rubbed my head and looked at them, shaking my head. "Look, I'm just being honest here," I said, though I shut up instantly when they looked at me with glares. I held up my hands innocently. "Alright... fine. I'll shut up."

I smiled at boht of them. "He was pretty awesome at teh dance, wasn't he? And we did kiss... and he gave me this," I said, unable to stop grinning. Even with Michaels negativity.

I sighed and shrugged. "Well, yeah, I guess he was," I said, wanting to keep my tone civil and not trying to dis Sirius in front of ember and Tobi.

I grinned, glad that Ember was finally seeing the best parts of the night rather than the depressing aspect that Michael pointed out to us. "Yes! Ems... I think he really likes you. He's probably just scared and timid because, well, because of James," I said. I wondered if we should have a word with Ember's big brother.

I grinned. "I think he does, too!' I said, giving in to my inner girl that I had been hiding since trying to move on from Sirius Black. "I'll have some words with James, I think... he'll have ot let this happen if it wants to, anyways..."
