What do you think? -- First Year

I crinkled up my wrapper and tossed it into the trash can.  "Something like that," I agreed with Stan, sprawling out on the bed, folding my hands behind my head.  "It'll be easy for you to memorize in here, though."  I changed topic suddenly.  "Everything -- so long as we don't get too crazy with our things -- is in a hexagonal pattern in here.  We each have our own little... nook?"  I was not sure if that was the right word -- Ryan was far better at describing things than I was.

I looked around and had to agree with Killian.  "He's right, mate," I assured Stan.  "We'll just have to warn anyone else who comes in here that they best not cross us and keep things somewhat organized for Stan's sake."

"That would be much appreciated," I said to my two mates.  I mean, they were so used to me by now that I was surprised they even thouoght of that in the first place.  "I hope Ryan is doing alright... he at least has Charlie with him, though.  So he's not completely alone... and I've got you two."  I was worried about my brother because we were almost more inseparable than twins.

I nodded.  "And it looked like he was easily making mates with a couple of other kids that were Sorted into Gryffindor, too," I assured Stan.  "I paid attention for you."

I chuckled.  "He is such a good mate, keeping an eye on your brother and everything," I said.  I had been too busy making sure Stan was doing alright.  Killian and I chose which job we wanted to do without Stan realiznig or knowing about it.

I wished I could roll my eyes at them.  "Don't act like I don't know what either one of you did," I said to them.  "I appreciate it, though."  I did not want them to think their efforts went unnoticed.

I smirked. "Don't mention it," I assured Constantine.  i woudl help my mate and my cousin out any day.  It was what we did.  I looked at Rory and we both had grins on our faces.  "Why don't we try to rest?  It'll be along day in the morning, I'm sure."

I looked at Killian and laughed out loud.  "Wow, can't say I expected you to be so studious," I said, wondering how on earth he thought we would sleep.  I was too hyped up to want to sleep.

I shook my head.  "He's not studious," I pointed out to Rory, "but he is one that needs his sleep remember?"  There was one time the three of us stayed together and Killian only got a few hours of sleep.  He was downright evil the next day.  "I don't think we want to deal with that again."
