Remember me and smile, for it's better to forget than to remember me and cry -- August 1991

I held onto Nate tightly while he cried.  His question lingered in the air around us; what was I supposed to tell him?  Greyback poisoned our dad.  I did not want Nate to turn to revenge, though.  "He was poisoned," I said to my young brother, fighting back my own tears now that I had to be strong for someone else.

I pulled away from my brother.  "How?" I asked; Dad was always so careful with any potions or anything like that.  He was experimental sometimes, yeah, but always careful.  I could sense that therew as more, though, with my other side.  "Remus... I want to know the truth."

I looked at my brother.  "That is the truth... he was poisoned by Greyback," I replied again.
