I'll be there till the stars don't shine, till the heavens burst -- 23 September 1979

I giggled and squirmed out of my mummy's arms and into Uncle Sirius's.  "Mine!" I said, holding onto him tightly.  "Dance time!"

I watched him go and grab Jada and could not help but think that I could not wait to see how he was with our own children.  Geez, we were barely married and I was thinking about kids?  I was not even out of Hogwarts yet... I had one more year.  I felt an arm around my shoulder and saw James leaning on me.  I grinned at him.  "Hey... can I steal a dance from my brother?" I asked.

I smiled at her.  "Of course I'll have a dance wiht my sister... it's why I came over," I said to her.  I spun her onto the dancefloor and was so happy that she was all grins and happiness.  "I'm so happy for you, Ems.  Really... your dreams came true..."

I separated myself from Chloe and went to Mrs. Potter.  I took her out onto the dance floor and started to dance with her.  She looked like such a proud mother and I did not blame her -- both children were rather happy and finally having their dreams come true.

I started taking photos of everything around us, Remus dancing with Tabatha. James and Ember dancing, Sirius and Jada. Making sure I got a few of October in the background of them sharing a dance. I could not be happier in times that have become so dark. There was still happiness to be found. I am just glad they have each other now. Sirius has a reason to be happy and forget the trauma of his past with his so called family to being apart of this family. We wouldn't have them any other way.

I smiled up at James.  "Well... are my eyes deceiving me?" I questioned playfully.  "It looks liek James Potter has tears in his eyes."  The music stopped and I leaned over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.  "Thank you... for everything, James.  You know I'm in good hands..."  I squeezed my brother's shoulders in a hug and pulled away from him.  I knew that I would be passed around to our guests and was preparing myself for that.  I looked over and saw Lily snapping pictures of everything and everyone, making me laugh.

I hated thats he was right, but I was so happy for the two people hwo mean so much to me.  they both found happiness in each other despite the obstacles I put in front of them.  I let Ember go and I walked over to the bar to get a drink.  I was going to need it.

I smiled at Mrs. Potter and then walked over to where my lovely girlfriend was standing.  "You're looking slightly lonely over here, love," I said to her, wrapping my arms around her from behind her, resting my chin on her shoulder.

I smiled as he came behind me, " I'm just observing....everyone is so happy, it's nice to see. Even in the rough times we can still have happiness..." I said as I instinctively started swaying back and forth. " It's great to see everyone like this....to really...well rub it in his face I guess." I said trying to choose my words delicately. I put my hands on his as I continued to sway. " You can go steal Tabatha for another dance. " I said with a smile, " It was adorable seeing you dancing with her."

I found my dad and grabbed hold of him.  He had not been in the best of health lately, but I was so grateful to still have him around for my big day.  "Will you dance another dance with your daughter?" I asked, smiling at him.

I smiled and shook my head.  "I know... which is why I'd rather steal a dance with you," I said, kissing her cheek.  Obviously I would end up dancing with Mrs. P again and I would hunt down Cathie, too.  But right now, my blonde beauty had all my attention.

I found my wife and put an arm around her waist.  "Why don't you join in on the festivities and I can take over the camera?" I suggested, knowing that Ember would love Lily in some pictures, too.

I shook my head as I put a stray piece of hair behind my ear. " I like behind the camera more, than being in front of it. " I told him. I enjoyed being the one capturing some amazing moments. I am just a sap at weddings. I'll be in some later. " I'll get in some photos later after separate dancing is done." I said knowing how he is.
