Re: Boris -- February 1996
I nodded and stood up, walking to the window to look out into the wintery snow. "That's why I'm up. Dad's out in the woods, or in the Shrieking shack... or somewhere outside. I'm worried. He's taking precautions, but I feel like he's not taking it serious enough," I explained. I peered out the window again, but really couldn't see anything. I pulld the sweater tighter around me and I nearly jumped when I felt Dean's hand on my shoulder and his body heat near me, making me shiver slightly. I realized how cold I was.

I felt her shiver and I rubbed her shoulders. "I know Remus, he's very cautious," I said, though I understood her concern. It was botherin gme already.

I turned and looked at Dean. "I know he is... but he's also very trusting," I responded. I moved past him closer to the fire. I stood by it and looked at Dean. "Dean... it sounded like they had switched it out or something already." Tears were coming to my eyes again.

I walked over to her and put my arms around her. I was worried, there was no doub about it. "Well... I'm going out there, then," I told her, pulling back and keeping my hands on her shoulders. "I will try to find him to see if he's okay." I knew it was probably stupid of me... but what else could I do? My basically-sister was freaking out and my second-father was out there somewhere either a sane wolf or one that was ready to kill someone. Little did anyone know... I had taken a leaf out of their book. I was an animagus. To be similar to Dad, I was a dog, too. But I didn't choose a black dog. That was boring. I was a big siberian husky. perfect for this kind of weather. That's what I would do to find Remus.

My eyes widened. "Dean, you can't go out there! If Boris is wild... no! You're not going alone," I amended. I had to make sure Daddy was alright. "If you're going, we both are." I crossed my arms as if daring him to try to stop me.

She did not need to come, but I understood why she was going to anyways. I nodded at her. "Five minutes. Be back down here in five minutes in warmer clothes. I'm going to check the map to see if he's on the grounds still or at the shack," I told her. We both rushed upstairs to our seperate dorms. I grabbed the map and got changed really fast. When I saw that was in the forest, my heart dropped. IF he was a wild wolf -- or Boris, as he and Lucy enjoyed calling it - that was not good. What if a student was out of bed and meandered into the storm or something? I sighed and went downstairs to see Lucy waiting for me. "He's in the forest," I told her. I wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. "Lucy, what you're about to see you can't tell anyone about, okay?"

I nodded. "Okay, it's a secret. Can we get moving now?" I asked, not sure what was so secretive about this besides the obvious. We both could get in trouble for this. Then my mouth fell oen. Where Dean was stood a huge Siberian husky with his blue eyes. Okay... now I saw what he meant. He started towards the portrait and I followed. This would be extremely helpful.

Re: Boris -- February 1996
I led the quickest route down to the grounds. We went through the passageway and out into the blowing snow. Great. This was going to be so much fun. It was practically a blizzard outside. I moved closer to Lucy. As long as we stayed touching we would be fine. She seemed to have hte same idea. I felt her hand on my back as we walked across the grounds towards the forest. I had my nose to the ground the whole time, trying to get a scent. But the wind was blowing so much and the snow was falling so thick... there was nothing. perhaps once we got to the forest.

Re: Boris -- February 1996
I kept my hand on Dean's back... this snow was blowing toot hickly not to keep in touch with each other. I looked behind me and realized our footprints were being covered easily. No one knew we were out here... maybe we weren't being so smart about this. I heard a howl over the wind. Dean looked back at me and I nodded. We ran as fast as I could through the snow. I knew I was slowing Dean down, but neither one of us should be out here by ourselves. When we got in the cover of the trees, it really helped slow down the wind and block some of the falling snow. I looked at him and watched as he tried to pick up a scent.

Re: Boris -- February 1996
I heard a howl and realized that he was close. Boris had smelled us before I smelled him. I saw the glowing eyes and stood between Boris and Lucy. I bared my teeth. If Remus was in control of Boris, he wouldn't blame me. But if Boris was in control of Remus... then I had to be prepared to fight him. And I wasn't too sure I could.

"Dean... maybe he's okay," I said quietly, looking towards Boris. "Boris... it's me. You know, Lucy. We've snuggled a few times..." I wasn't quite sure what I was doing, but I wanted to get closer to him. Dean wouldn't let me... which was probably a good idea.

Boris growled and took a step closer. There was a scent in the air that he recognized... but there was too much. He stepped even closer, wanting to tear the little things apart. He growled and snapped his jaws at them, loving the way it made the girl flinch. Fear is what he smelled now. And fear is what he liked.

I felt the wolf notice things, I smelled something familiar. Lucy....Will...I had howled loudly. I didn't appear to far away from them. I was going to help them. Of course. The wolf took off in the direction. I had to keep dad away from them. I ran fast, I saw the scene in front of me. I started growling to let Boris know he was outnumbered.

I pushed Lucy even farther back. I had no idea what she was thinking she was doing. They had gotten the switch somehow or somthing happened. All I knew is that I was not going to let Boris attack remus's daughter. He would never forgive himself for that. Never. I braced myself, getting ready to lunge at him if necessary. Please, Remus... just get Boris to leave. Somehow... regain control... please. I thought, hoping that somehow Remus would get control.

I didn't take my eyes off of Boris. I heard another growl and prayed to God that Will wasn't affected either... that Will was still in control. "Daddy, Boris... you both just need to calm down," I told them softly.
