I definitely understood wanting to gain confidence before going to dad. But it did make me feel good to know that George wanted my permission too. "Well, in case it wasn't obvious, I'm not going to stop you. You've been a wonderful influence on Lenni... and I suppose you'd make one hell of an entertaining brother, too," I added, smiling at him.

I grinned at him. "Thanks," I said, realizing a weight had been lifted. "You have no idea how much weight that just took off my shoulders. I mean... holy crap."

I laughed at him. "Oh yes I do... I've already done this with Addie, remember?" I said. "That's why i feel for you, I really do." Blake had been a pain to ask for Addie's hand. I was glad that Mona was there... she made him behave. I don't htink BLake likes me at all.

That was right! Why hand't I remembered? "Right! Any words of advice for me, man? I will take anything you can give me," I said. I was freaking out about asking her dad.

I sighed and sat down next to him. "I had Addie's mum there to keep her dad calm. I don't think he likes me much," I sadi to George. "Any idea how much my dad likes you?"

I sighed and shook my head. "It's hard to tell... I think he does, but I don't know for sure. He gives me a hard time. But that might just be the dad in him," I explained. I was so glad that Dean was goign to help me out on this a little bit.

I nodded, definitely agreeing that it was just my dad being a dad. "Well... you could always see if my mum is there to help you out a little bit," I suggested.

I shrugged. That was an option. "Would that upset your dad, though?" I asked him. I didn't need Mr. Black to get pissed at me for something like this.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair again. "I'm not sure. I doubt it... it takes a lot to upset Dad," I explained.

I guess he knew his dad better than I did. "Alright... I'll see if maybe Ember could be home. But when I go... if she's not there, I'm just going to as him," I explained.

I laughed. "George, I don't need a gameplan," I told him, teasing. I mean... I was here if he wanted to talk... but I didn' tnecessarily need to know.

I laughed.  "Yeah, yeah, I know," I said.  I looked at him.  "Well, thanks Dean.  I'm really glad that you helped and gave us the blessing."

I looked at George and smiled, even if it was hard for me to accept the fact that my sister was no longer my baby sister really.  "Not a problem," I assured him.  "I've never seen my sister this happy..."  That was the entire truth, too.

I smirked, feeling a little more confident.  "Really?  You've never seen her this happy?" I asked, glad to know that I had that affect on Elena.

I rolled my eyes.  "Don't be getting cocky now," I added to him.  "But yeah... she's never been this happy."
