Personality:  Remus is more on the quiet side, but mischievous.  Not a lot of people see the other side of him and he is wary to become close to people.  He fears that he is disliked by everyone, so when he is liked he tends to be lenient with behavior.


Bio:

Before School Years:  Remus's mother left him and his father soon after he was bitten at the age of 5 by Fenrir Greyback.  His father had somehow offended Greyback and that lead to him being bitten.  He was always an outcast and never really had friends.  He was afraid they would all turn away from him and he really only ever talked to his father on a regular basis.  It had always been him and his dad against the world, which was the way Remus liked it after awhile.  He had some trust issues growing up.

During School Years:  On the first train ride Remus met Sirius, James, and Peter.  Instantly they all clicked and became the Marauders.  He feared when they found out about his furry little problem, but that only made them stronger friends.  He was ecstatic when he had even been let into school let alone make friends!  He ended up dating Ember, James's sister, for one summer but they ended it thinking it was best.  Then when Chloe Murdock found him attractive, remus had a hard time figuring that one out.  Of course he was convinced that they should start dating and have been together ever since.

There were a few instances during school where Remus's furry little problem almost made some situations worse, but it ended up saving the girls from time to time as well.  The wolf liked Chloe... and that was an extremely dangerous thing when it came to people who would hurt her.

After School Years:  The only career Remus could get was as the DADA teacher at Hogwarts.  Dumbledore made sure that even if there were angry parents, all would be well for Lupin.  He had two beautiful children with Chloe and, yes, he does teach them.  He is more strict with them than any other studetns for he knows how hard they work and knows they can handle it.

Being a professor at Hogwarts with his two children along with the children of his best mates, it made teaching quite difficult at times.  He had been their mentor for so long.  He had a hard time when Dean nearly killed himself.  He thought it was rather entertaining that Elena had a school-girl crush on him.  Remus did not like the fact that his daughter ended up dating and marrying the son of his nemesis.  He had been there when Harry had struggled with the fact of not having his parents.  And he had been there when Will lost the love of his life.  And those are just the cherries on top of everything else that Remus had helped the kids through.

Of course in the end, Remus was happy with the way life had turned out for everyone.  James and Lily were still alive, reunited with their son.  Remus and Chloe were going to be made grandparents!  Will was finally happy again... and then it all went wrong one sunny afternoon in Hogsmeade.  The Lestranges attacked them.  Remus lost his memories -- he only had vague feelings for certain people.  He had to go through the fact of losing his father all over again.  He did not remember hardly anything.  With time, certain things returned to him.  When CHloe woke up, she helped him so much more.  She helped him merge his new, darker self with his old, happier self.  He still was never the same as he was before the attack, but he was pretty much back to being Remus Lupin.  

He ended up becoming Headmaster after Dumbledore passed and is now teaching all the grandchildren... which definitely do not make things any easier than their parents did.  He still has the constant battle with the darkness within.

I suppose you're going ot have to be the responsible one now... which is such a relief.  I hated being the responsible one all the time.  

*scowls* Yeah, who has to break it to the kids when they can't or shouldn't do something.

Why do I feel like that's reversed?  I bet Remus is the tough one at home... he always made sure we behaved after all.

*raises eyebrows* Oh, yeah... I am the good guy at home....especially when it deals with Lucy being his little girl....

*shifty eyes*  I don't treat Lucy any differently than Will...

*howls and claps hand on knee*  Oh... Moony... that is a good one!!  *tears coming to eyes from laughing so hard*

*chuckles and rolls eyes*  I can't help it if I'm protective.  She doesn't need to be out running around with a bunch of guys...
