Personality:  Nate is goofy and quirky, quick witted and can be very sarcastic.  He has a cocky attitude, but is very kind hearted at the same time.  Nathaniel is extremely outgoing and is a bit of a daredevil.  He loves to play quidditch whether just for fun or for sport.  He fights for equality among wizards/witches, elves, etc... all because of his big brother and, obviously, himself.


Bio:

Before School Years:  Nathaniel looked up to his older siblings like crazy.  He always wanted to be like Remus:  brave, independent, strong, and yet kind and empathetic.  He loves to be like Penny, though, and be rather brainy.  He hides his smarts behind his cockiness and quick wit, but he excelled in everything that he tried to do.  When Nate turned five, something horrible happened.  History seemed to repeat itself.  Nate was targeted and bitten by none other than Greyback on a night of the full moon.  It was probably for continuous punishment towards Jonathan, but no one ever really told Nate while he was young.

Nate lost his dad when he was nine years old and that was hard on him --- hard on the whole family.  Nate tried to be strong for Penny, but went to Remus for everything he needed after that.  He knew that he was the man of the house and did not want to upset his mumma by breaking down, though he knew it was okay to do so.  He is younger than his niece and nephew -- Will and Lucy -- but that never bothered him.  They just called him Nate anyways.

During School Years:  Nate was rather surprised to be Sorted into Hufflepuff, but he wore that house with pride.  He wondered i fhe was Sorted into Hufflepuff because he was a very loyal person and, despite the lycanthropy, Nate knew that he did not have to live in complete hiding:  Just look at Will, Remus... and yes, even the Greybacks.  Nate expected to be Sorted into Gryffindor like Remus because of what he had to face every full month.  However, with the help of some more skilled potion makers, Nathaniel did not have to go through the horrendous transformations without Wolfsbane potion (once he was at school anyways).  With that potion being relatively new, Nate still had his younger years to change.  And, of course, Remus made sure it was safe before either Will or Nate took some.

His brother wanted him to be kind to the Potter kid no one knew existed and that was really hard since Evan was so unlike Nate.  However, he still tried with the kid, it was the least he could do.  Nate excelled in all his classes, but mostly Transfiguration.  He had to work twice as hard as everyone else in DADA because his brother showed no favoritism and had high hopes for Nathaniel.  Nate had to work triple hard in Potions because, well, Snape is a greasy prat. 

When this new girl -- Evan's sister -- came to Hogwarts during their later years, Nate was not sure what to think with her since she was so different from her twin brother.  He came to sort of start fancying her... but told himself no because, well, he heard stories of her dad from Remus and whatnot.  He was not sure if he wanted to endure his Uncle Prongs.

Nathaniel was just as surprised as everybody else when he became Prefect and then Head Boy for his year.  Some thought that, perhaps, Remus had something to do with it.  Nate, however, knew otherwise.  With the way that Remus never showed favoritism (except with higher expectations), Nate knew that he had somehow earned it.  He was always a hard worker and poured his heart and soul into whatever he was doing; he always tried to brighten somebody's day with his metamorphagus talents or some other way; he had quick wit; Nathaniel just always seemed to be very kind to everyone.  He knew it was those qualities that landed him as a Prefect and as Head Boy.
