I knew I loved you---- 4 October 1980

The day had finally come for Remus and I to get married. I couldn't believe we are here today as we were getting ready.His dad had been kind enough to let us borrow the house.  Everyone was getting ready and make up was being put on me at the moment. The ladies had there hair and make up done. I was the last one to be done, I was told it is supposed to be like that. I can't wait to see the guys in their tux's, I was nervous, I am a klutz enough as it is. Not like I wanted to fall over walking down the aisle. I let out a breath, " This is going to be wonderful." I said as I looked around to the ladies as everyone started changing into the bridesmaid dresses. I was so glad I went with a dark blue. It looked really good on everyone and it was also a dress they could wear again. I picked well i thought. Looking over to my dress as it hung along the door. I smiled, " The day is here.." I said as I looked over to my friends. I couldn't wait. Today I become Mrs. Chloe Lupin.

I was standing with the rest of the groomsmen -- Sirius, James, and Peter of course -- getting around.  We had planned to our best ability to go around my furry little problem... but I had not really realized that it was just a couple days after the cycle.  I was sure I looked horrible.  No way to look for Chloe on our wedding day.  I was glad that all of us guys were back on the same page and having a great time.  Especially the fact that Peter was back in our good graces.  It would have been odd not having him here since these three were really my only close friends that I had ever really had.  I finished putting in my cuff links and I just was watching their antics with a bemused smile upon my face.  "You guys are full of it," I told them, rolling my eyes but laughing at them.  They were all wound up or something... I was more than excited, don't get me wrong.  But these guys were nearly literally bouncing off the walls.

I laughed and clapped Moony on the shoulder. "Don't you know it," I teased. "I'm just glad that it's about time we got to this day, mate. Now all we have to do is get Peter to get hitched as well... I think that'll make everything so great with all of us," I added, having to give Wormtail a hard time.

I smiled to Chloe, " Everything is coming together. Also, about time it did too. Remus took his time with you." I teased, James was getting to me, oh merlin no. " You look beautiful, soon we need to get you into that beautiful dress of yours future Mrs. Lupin. " I said with a grin as I put my dress on and did it up.

I was so excited for today!  I laughed as Lily gave Chloe a hard time.  "Oh merlin... you're sounding like James!" I quipped, finishing getting dressed myself.  The guys had been relentless in giving Remus a hard time.  And now they rubbed off on Lily... that was not good.  I grinned at the two of them.  "Chloe... just tell us when you're ready to get into that gorgeous gown," I said, walking over to it to admire it a little bit more.  She had chosen something that made her look like a princess or something.

I got told that I was all done, smiling I stood up and walked over to my dress. It was a halter dress tight around my bust and flows out nicely to the ground. " I believe it's time now." I said happily as I couldn't wait. I was going to get into my dress then my veil would be added.

I rolled my eyes at James and smiled at Moony.  "Don't worry... your furry little problem didn' make you look that bad," I teased, knowing for sure that was what was on his mind.  I was glad that that comment had made all of us howl with laughter.  I was so relieved that they had all calmed down a little bit with me... I was back in good standing with all of them despite any previous discretions.  Which was perfect.

I helped Lily get Chloe into her dress without it bunching oddly or anything like that.  I took a step back to admire the beautiful bride.  "Chloe... you look amazing!" I said, putting a hand over my mouth slightly while gazing at her.  "Just please... don't fall," I added, teasing her.

"Oh, that bad, eh?" I said, chuckling.  "Then I still look bad... just not that bad.  Gee, thanks Peter."  I was sure that as soon as things got rolling I ould not be this nervous.  I knew that when I would see her, I would be thinking of nothing but her... and probably hoping that she doesn't fall.  Maybe I was more nervous for her than me.

I laughed, " Could always try Padfoot's approach....have a swig of firewhiskey to calm your nerves?" I grinned, why I needed to address mself in third person no idea. I was not drunk at all. While, I could have been I have only had a mixed beverage. " You'll be wonderful mate. Even if the moon did take a lot out of you. I expect when you see Chloe all thoughts will leave your mind. "

I nodded with a smirk, " You look beautiful, she is right though. Try not to fall." I laughed, I thought it was amazing that Mr. Lupin had agreed to walk Chloe down the aisle. He had been honoured to do it. " From one Mr.Lupin to another." I teased. It was super cute he had said of course to walk her down. She looked beautiful, " Now for to veil." I said as I rushed over to grab it to put the last and final touch onto Chloe. Lifting it in front of her face. " You look gorgeous." I said as I gave my friend a hug.

I started laughing and shook my head.  "I think a swig would probably be a good idea... but I have to agree with Padfoot," I said, "You'll be fine once you see her."  I knew he would be.  There was no way that he would keep these nerves once he saw Chloe.

I laughed. "I suppose a quick shot would not be all that bad," I agreed. I knew that Padfoot had to have one on his wedding day. Besides, sometimes it woke you up more than get you tipsy. I glanced up at the clock. It seemed to be going so slowly.

I had to come in and see my son before going to see the lovely bride and walk her down the aisle -- what an honor! I never would have expected Chloe to come to me to do that for her... I viewed her as my daughter already, so of course I would do the honor of walking with her on such an important day of her life. I heard the kids talking about shots and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and laugh. "I see you all have the same influence on each other still," I joked, giving my son a grand hug which he most certainly deserved.

I glared at the two of them, " You both are hilarious..." I said as I shook my head, " I know that..." I said as I then began to worry about that. I was sure John would not lt me fall.
