Say it if it's worth saving me -- 2019/20?

I was in love iwth Juliet and knew for awhile that I wanted to marry her.  I just needed to wait for Ryan to be okay with the whole relationship.  I went over to Sedona's flat that she shared with Leopold -- something that was hard for me to handle.

I knocked on her door.  "Dona?  It's just dad," I said, knowing she was not expecting me.

I heard a knock and was started until I heard my dad's voice.  Smiling, I got up from my desk.  I opened hte door and hugged him when he came in.  "Dad!  How are you?" I asked, always loving it when he stopped by.

After I caught my breath from her hug, I smiled at her.  "Well... I've got some happy news if all goes as planned," I said.  "I just wanted to double check with the three of you before I do it, though."

I led Dad to the couch as he spoke. I looked at him with a smile.  "What's going on?" I asked, having a feeling what this was.  I could barely contain my excitement.

This was a bit more difficult than I expected.  "Well, I would like to propose to Juliet," I told her.  "I just wanted to make sure it was okay with you.  It's not like I'm replacing your -- "

I cut my dad off by hugging him again.  "Dad, shut up," I said to him gently.  "I am so excited!  You're finally making it official!  You know I've always been okay with everything."  I could nto stop smiling.

I did kind of expect this from my daughter.  "Thank you, sweetie," I said, kissing her on the cheek.

"Have you talked to the boys yet?" I aske, wondering how they would take it.  They both seem alright with the relationship now.

I laughed and shook my head.  "I went with the easiest one first," I said to her simply.  There was no way I was prepared to handle Ryan's reaction.  I was going to ask the boys to be my best men.  I knew Juliet would end up asing Sedona to be in the wedding, but I was not going to ruin that surprise when it came.

I nodded, understanding.  "Well go ask them!" I said, standing up.  "I want to be able to celebrate."

Chuckling, I stood up with my daughter.  I gave her another hug, then had another quick thought.  "I'm surprised by you dona," I said to her simply, a smile playing at my lips.

I looked at my dad and furrowed my brow slightly.  "What did I do?" I asked, not sure what just happened.

I dug into my pocket and pulled out a box.  "I expected you to want to see the ring," I said.

I took the box and opened it.  "Oh, Dad, she'll love it!" I said, looking down at the diamond.  I looked back up at my dad and hugged him again.  "You don't need to worry.  Juliet loves you; she'll say yes."

I left Sedona's and found my middle son.  "Hey Stan," I said, letting him know who it was.
