Court is in session, the verdict is in -- Early 1965
I was working with the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and I was due down in the courtrooms. There had been a werewolf attack on a couple of Muggle children. It was despicable. I settled into my place and looked at the docket. Among a couple of wizards, there was also a so-called Muggle who was a witness... a Greyback. I doubted that he was a Muggle, but they found no wand. I had a feeling that I was merely there to give evidence that they were, indeed, werewolves. One of them was on the Werewolf Registry and this was merely a formality to get him into Azkaban. But since the registry was poorly maintained, we had no idea if the other two were involved or just witnesses to the attack.
I already had judgment and what I personally believed they should do. I just hoped that I would be able to convince the rest of them. They already had their minds made up as wlel... this was going to be hard to convince them that more than one werewolf was invovled... unless teh other two were truly just witnesses.

I walked into the Ministry, acting like a scared little peon. I knew that they were fooled, thinking I was just a Muggle. I would continue to use that to my advantage. Walking into the courtroom, I saw one particular Wizard staring at me with such hatred that i knew that he knew what I was. The rest of them looked bored. I had this in the bag. I would not get ratted out by one single man.

Any murmuring that was going on in between sessions ceased when they brought in what everyone assumed to be a muggle tramp. I, however, instantly recognized the signs of a werewolf written all over the man. I watched him as they started to read about the scene that they had found him near -- the two mangled and killed Muggle children. The man seemed to be so upset about the deaths that he begged us to stop.
"Calm down, sir," my comrade said, his voice full of boredom. It had already been a long day. "Trust us when we say this preceding are near an end."
I looked over at him. "Why would you say that? You recognize him fro what he is, right?" I said loudly, making myself heard.

I was begging them to stop speaking; it was just too horrific. I hid my smirk easily enough as they continued to drone on. And that was when the man spoke. I raised my head and looked at him. His dark eyes met mine and I knew at once he knew exactly what I was. "I'm afraid! Why am I here? What did I see...? It's all so confusing," I lied easily enough, my voice full of dismay.

I scoffed at the entire court. "He is one of them -- a werewolf! We should detain him until the full moon has passed! If he isn't a werewolf, then he can leave and never remember being here," I suggested. The full moon was only twenty-four hours away. There was no reason not to keep him for observation.

I looked up at the man shouting and acted as though I had no idea what he was speaking of. "A-a what? What is this?" I asked, pretending to be fearful.
One of the other Wizengamot spoke up and yelled at the man: "Keep your head, Lupin! He is merely a frightened Muggle! We'll take care of his memory and there will be no harm done!"
Lupin. I would remember that and make him pay for what he was saying about us lowly werewolves.

I wanted to pull out my hair. "Just look at him! You called me here to be of help to you and you lot are just ignoring me! Do not let him leave," I said, rather exasperated wiht the fact no one would ljisten.

I feigned confusion. "What are we talking about?" I questioned innocently. I could see the anger radiating from the man -- Lupin -- and hid my smirk. He was digging himself a hole and there was no way he was going to escape my wrath. I knew that they would try something with me since they thought I was a Muggle, but I would deal with that as I had mates waiting for me.

I looked at the other Wizards in the room. "Please, just keep him contained... if I'm right - which I am nearly positive I am - he is a werewolf! Those-those things are soulless... they're evil! They deserve nothing but death! One should not be released after something like that mauling! If I'm wrong, we can let him go without hesitation. It's just twenty-four hours," I shouted, motioning with my hands hoping to emphasize the importance.
