A smile played at my lips. "No one's been this nice to me in a very long time," I said before I could even think about what I was saying. I knew that I could never tell anyone about what happened to me throughout the years of my life. so I normally always thought before I spoke. "And you're fine," I added, hoping she would just keep talking and not pay attention to what I had said.
