Sins of the father... -- Spring 1993

I shrugged.  "Because of what my dad has done to you," I said to him simply.  "And I don't know what you'd need help with... but I could maybe tell you things about Dad that may hellp you to understand things?  Or just in general at school... it's up to you.  I just think it'd be best if we worked together rather than be jealous or something."

Well, Jetty had a point.  I sighed.  "That would be good, I think," I said.  I was unsure if I could trust him, but I would much rathre have him as an ally than an enemy.  Especially with all my confusion surrounding Peter and Professor Lupin and everything that was going on here.

At least I started to get through to him.  "Good," I said to him, a bit unsure where to go from there.  "It'll probably upset Dad if we're mates... but I honestly don't care."

I was not sure if I had as much apathy about what Peter thought as Jetty did, but I could use a mate.  I nodded.  "Alright," I said to him.  "It should be okay, though>"

I shrugged.  "At least you can count on someone, I guess," I said to Evan easily enough.
