Who to Choose? -- January 1979 (Break)

I grinned, nodding.  "that really is the best idea for me and Sirius," I said to her.  "I just can't wait to get my dress.  I mean... I know that times suck and whatnot.  But isn't that the bet reason for a wedding?"  I bit my lip, wondering if we were all mental for getting married in times like this.

I put a hand on Ember's.  "That is exactly why it's good to have a wedding," I assured her.  I smiled.  "I cannot wait to see you in your wedding dress... I'm so going ot have fun with you at the bridal shoppe."

I laughed.  "You, Chloe, and Lily are all going to have too much fun while dress shopping," I assured my best mate.  "It's going to be ridiculous.  I doubt I'll even look for myself... you three will have all the ideas and I can only choose from them."  which was totally okay.  I had no idea what I even wanted for myself... their help would be appreciated.

I grinned at her.  "What if you went with something a bit more subtle than red?  You could do pale gold," I suggested, looking through a bridal magazine and seeing a beautiful gold bridesmaid dress.  I pointed it out to her.  "Still have red flowers or something?"  I knew that Ember loved red for a wedding, though.  "And you're right; we will bring the dresses to you and that is all you get to choose from."

My eyes widened with adoration.  "Yes!  That would look great with Lily's hair and everyone," I said, agreeing with Tobi.  "I do like the idea of having red flowers still... I can wear red shoes, too!  Just have pale gold be the main color and then red as accent color."  I could nto believe my wedding ot Sirius Black was in the making.

I grinned.  "That sounds beautiful.  Have the gold ribbon around the bouquets to help tie it in with the red -- oh, and do gold in your hair!" I said, knowing that we could easily get gold ribbon in with the veil depending on the type.  "I cannot believe that you are marrying Sirius."

I grinned at her.  "I know, right?" I said, shaking my head.  "It is so unreal."

"How is James handling it all?" I asked, looking through some bridal magazines for inspiration as we talked and decided on things for Ember's wedding.

I shrugged.  "Oh, he's doing fine," I said easily enough.  I was not going to have James ruin anything.  "I think it hasn't hit quite yet..."

I grinned at Ember.  "I kind of want to be around when it does... that'll be bloody brilliant.  And I have a feeling you'll need some backup."  James might go mental.

I pushed some hair behind my ear and sighed.  "I don't think it will be that bad... Mum and Dad will help reign him in if necessary as well," I said to my best mate.
