Face down -- TBD

I had kicked some other students away when I had sat down.  I waved the guys over and smiled at them.  "So do we have any plans for tonight?  I'm getting rather bored of being cooped up... I feel like breaking a few rules," I said as they sat down.

I leaned back in the chair I had sat down in. "I honestly have thought of nothing to do," I said to the group. "But I wouldn't mind terrorizing some little Hufflepuffs or something." They were easy targets. I did not feel like having something difficult.

I sighed, I hated how this was part of being Slytherin.  I wanted to get them to be interested in something else for the moment.  "Have you read about the random slew of attacks happening lately?" I inquired.  Of course I had rather heard about rather than read about it.  I had a feeling that it would be leading to something big.

I could nto help but let a small smile come to my lips.  Stan was always the one to change the subject on us at random.  "Yeah, I have.  I think there's a new wizard rising, personally.  Dad seems to think that, too," I said, thinking that it was quite a good thing actually.  I was curious as to if I would ever find out who it was if the Ministry ahd a hard time pinpointing the wizard.

I raised my eyebrows at Dorian's bluntness.  "You really think so?" I asked, keeping my voice low in case others tried to overhear our conversation who were not really part of our group -- they just thought they were. I glanced around, wondering if Vinny or Mina would join us, but I did not see them.

That entire idea made me a little weary and, to be honest, afraid.  Did we really need a new dark wizard to rise?  I stayed quiet, deciding to let the boys hash it out.

I leaned forward on my elbows, a gleam in my eye.  "Of course," I said simply.  "There is no other explanation... this is what happened the last time, too.  Dad said so."  I was so matter-of-fact, I was sure they would not argue with me.

It almost made me sick to think that Dorian and rory were highly intrigued by this.  Though, to be honest, I was intrigued, just not in the same sense.  "Yeah, but there might be other rational reasons," I pointed out ot them.  There was no need to start a panic.

I nodded slowly.  "It does make sense," I said, leaning back in my seat, thinking about that.  Dorian had a point.

"Of course it does," I stated simply.  I had no idea why people thought they needed to disagree with what I thought.  I looked at Constantine and Daphne.  "What do you think?" I inquired.  They were awfully quiet -- except for Stan's pitiful insight.

I sighed and shrugged.  "I don't really know what to think, Ian," I said honestly, hoping that would suffice.

I walked into the common room and saw a cozy little gathering.  I walked over to them and sat down next to Dorian.  "What are we talking about?" I inquired.

Of course Vinny would show up.  I smiled slightly and shrugged.  "We're debating if there is a new wizard coming to rise," I said honestly, wondering what views Vincent would give us.

I had wondered whether or not Vinny would show up.  I was not at all surprised that he would just pop into our conversation.  I raised my eyebrows at him. "What do you think?" I asked.

I shrugged, knowing what my own father had said about this man.  "I have to agree with Ian," I said simply.  "I mean... what else could it be?"  I had to be a little vague as to why I thought I knew exactly what was going on -- though it did not sound like Ian was.
