I grinned at him. "You know I do enjoy you repeating that every now and then," I teased. I clapped him on the back. "You think you wouldn't know already if she's been fighting? I think I beat Dumbledore to the punch every time Elena gets in a fight to let you guys know." I laughed a little bit. "Correction -- you and James were the smart alecks. I was just the smart one."

I grinned, " I am sure she's not that bad.." I said as I had my arm around her waist as I pulled her close as we went to talk to Michael and October. " Hi." I said with a smile. I figured that would open it up to conversation.

I grinned, " That is true....you do normally beat him to the punch..." I said with a laugh. " I bet Lenni is super happy about that.." I said as I could just imagine her, getting angry that she got in trouble for something she thought was the right thing to do.." She is just as stubborn as her mother.." I said. " Oh....and we're the smart alecks.."

"Alright... I'll go talk to him. Addie, you don't have to if you don't want to," I told her. I smiled at Mum and left the two ladies to themselves, that way Addison wasn't pressured to come with me if she didn't want to.

"Hey, Jetty," I said again, knowing I've already greeted him. "You're kinda all alone over here... why don't you join in on the party? I can get you a drink...?"

"thank you, sweetie," I said as Dean walked over to jetty. I looked at Addie and smiled. She gave me a big hug and I told her, "See? He still cared."

I was slightly startled by Dean coming over to me. "Hey," I replied, trying to figure out why he would talk to me. Then I saw Ember with Addison and figured that had something to do with it. "You know you don't have to keep me entertained," I told him. "I know your mum thinks that I'm by myself and all, but you don't have to stay over here just because she said so."

I laughed. "I would agree wholeheartedly with you there," I said, shaking my head at how stubborn the Black women were. It was ridiculous. "For the most part, i think she is. --and you know that you guys were the ones who were the smart alecks and don't even try to deny it," I added, pointing at him slightly.

I laughed. "She kinda is," I said quietly as we walked over. I gave her another look that hopefully she took as a behave yourself look.

I put my hand on the small of Tobi's back, that way I could help control her if I thought she was getting too carried away. I knew she was happy for her daughter... but I also knew how Tobi was. "Nice to finally meet you, Fred," I said with a smile. "I hear that you're on the Quidditch team? What position do you play?" I had been the Keeper in Ravenclaw house... so I figured that'd be a nice way to get Fred comfortable with a 'meet the parents and have a conversation with them' moment.

I smiled at Fred. "You two are looking very cute tonight," I said, hoping that Jada wouldn't get frustrated with me talking with Fred. I couldn't help myself! I was just so excited for her! but I wasn't sure exactly how far the two of htem had progressed. It was obvious to me that they were in love... but it was hard to tell if they knew that.

I smiled, " Thank you...Mrs. Monroe. " I said politely, my parents raised me to respect everyone. Especially the girlfriend's parents. I looked to Michael, " Yes, I play beater...which is always a fun time. The last time I was in the hospital wing, madam pomfrey told me to be more careful.." I nodded, " I love the game...at times it doesn't love me."

I left and returned with a drink for Jetty, almost laughing at the look of surprsie on his face. "Jetty... we said we'd try to be nice and whatnot to each other in the new year. I think we can start a night early that way we can enjoy the festivities," I told him,holidng my glass out to him.

I looked at Elena. "So... you think we should probably hunt your dad down and get this over with?" I asked her, runnign a hand through my hair nervously.

I suppose he did have a build for a beater. "Really? I don't suppose you're actually listening to Pomfrey, are you?" I asked, a smile playing at my lips.

I smiled, hooking my arm in his arm. " I will be with you...the WHOLE time... don't worry.." I informed him. Really my dad wasn't horrible. I led him past my mum who gave me a smile and a nod as we went outback to find my dad speaking with Remus. " Hi dad...Remus.." I said as happily as I could.
