How we walk with the broken, speaks louder than how we sit with the Great. -December 25 1977

So the full moon was tonight I wanted Remus to feel happy after the moon. He deserves more than I could ever give him. I wanted to have everyone together after the full moon, to really just have everyone together. I finished putting my skirt on as I went off to find Ember and Lily. I figured I would ask them what they thought then I would ask James and Sirius. I found the two of them in the common room, " Hey guys...." I said sitting down beside Lily.

I was wearing one of Sirius's jumpers that was over top of a pair of leggings that I had.  Big wool socks covered my feet and I had a cup of hot chocolate.  I knew that Remus was trying to shoo all of us away to go spend time with our families during the holiday and I figured that he would end up winning because everyone gave in to Remus when it came to this time of month.  I looked at Chloe and smiled.  "Hey, what's up?" I asked.

I had stolen one of James' jumpers as it was one of my favourites, and my fuzzy socks and black leggings. Perfect winter outfit. Looking to Chloe, " Hey...." I said with a grin, " you look like something's on your mind."

" Well, I have been thinking...you know how Remus is trying to get everyone to go home?" I asked them, not really waiting for a response. " Well, my idea is to get everyone together for tomorrow morning for Christmas....I know he wants us to leave him be to be Remus frankly. I am tired of him thinking he has to do this by himself and how we will all view him differently...So what if we meet the guys after? After the night they have where we can all be together?" I asked them. " to really show him that we don't care about his illness and just want to all be together on the holidays."

This was why I loved Chloe being with Remus:  she honestly did not care.  She called him out on his crap more than any of hte rest of us ever would.  I grinned at her.  "I think it'd be a good idea.  Honestly, I think it'll end up putting him in his place for a bit of time," I said, agreeing.  "We'll need to talk to James, sirius, and Peter... but you know they won't care.  They'll want to help him.  I know Remus thinks he's doing us a favor by having us go spend time iwth our family... he just needs to get it through his head that he's part of that family."  I woudl have just listened to whatever was decided upon because it was not my place to force Remus to do anything.

Even though it would be forced a bit, it would not be at the same time.  Remus really wants to be with everyone, he just never liked his furry little problem to get in the way of our lives.

Grinning I nodded, " I love that idea!" I said happily. " I think he'll be happy about it. I'd say to get the guys in on it...but I would love to do that and have tea and chocolate and whatnot in the morning. I'll help anyway I can Chloe." I smiled to her. " We can get the guys down here.... "

I nodded with some enthusiasm.  "Of course we have to have the tea," I teased.  "We need to make a huge breakfast, though.  with more than just tea and chocolate.  Like, the pancakes with fruit and whipped cream smiley faces on them.  I remember hearing Remus and John talking about that... or perhaps we should extend it for after breakfast... and we could make Remus one of his favorite meals:  a hotdog slathered in cheese, onions, chili, and bacon bits." 

I knew enough about Remus to last a lifetime.  He was my brother's best mate, he was my secret ex... I just knew a lot of stuff about him.  "I know that it was stuff like that his parents... well, his dad did to help make everything a little better."

" Oh I'm going to be up way early to make everything myself. You guys are more then welcome to come with to lend a hand to pack everything up for them. " I said excitedly. " Breakfast will be awesome and we can have a mix of everything. I figure they'll be up around 10 once they wake up...." I said trying to nail down a plan. " So as long as we are out on the grass by 1030 11 ish it shouldn't be a problem."

I chuckled.  "I think you under estimate how long James sleeps sometimes," I teased, knowing my brother.  "And out on the grass?"  My eyebrows were raised, not entirely sure what she meant by that.  There was no grass as it was bloody Christmas time.  But it could have been a Muggle phrase, so I would keep some of the skepticism out of my voice.  "Oh, and you know we'll be up to help you, Chlo'.  You're not doing this all on your own."

Laughing, " We can always wake up them up after all the decorations are up." I pointed out." Well, it'd be more in the shack with a couple of heat enchancements on it....or we can meet them here when they get there butts back in the castle.." I suggested a couple of different scenarios. " I figured you guys would want in on that. " I smiled.

I nodded.  "Hmm... we could always do something in the Room of Requirement?  I don't think they'd want us near the shack... not until Pomfrey escorts Remus back to the hospital wing like normal..." I mused, biting my lip as I thought.  I grinned a little evilly.  "Or we could just wake them all up in their dorm and stay up there or something?  We are the only Gryffindors that didn't go home to their families..." I liked the idea of surprising them while they slept... but it was only because I enjoyed getting on James' nerves... that boy loves his sleep.

"You know us, Chlo', whatever you want, we're in," I finished with a smile.

I smiled happily, " Let's try to get the other three down here to ask them to make sure they can get him either here or at the shack." I said to the other two. Unsure of what they were going to think of the idea. I am just tired of Remus thinking that no one loves him or truly cares about him. " Well after we get the other three in on it I will be getting started on getting things together. I am thinking boys dormitory? "

I nodded.  "they should be there... wait, are you going to get Remus involved or is it going to be a surprise?  because that will definitely need to be emphasized with James and Sirius; Peter can keep secrets as he's quiet.  But then again, he's hte easiest to break I think," I mused.

" I think we should tell them it's a surprise..." I said looking from Chloe to Ember. Chloe nodded along with me. " It'll be entertaining to say the least." trying to think of how we can tell the three and not to tell Remus.

I sighed.  "We know all four of them are upstairs," I said slowly.  "Perhaps we could get them to do different errands for Remus before we do as poor Remus said and leave him here... then we each tell one of the guys about the surprise?" I was not entirely sure if it would work, but it was one way to at least get the guys away from Remus.
